Staff were amazing, great welcome, really looked after us on arrival and during our meal and drinks in the evening. The Inn itself is quirky and we love the history of the building.

Breakfast really lovely and served in a beautiful dining room. Good choice of cooked breakfast but for me the lovely plate of fruit served with yogurt and honey was my perfect start.
Loved the garden sitting there watching the dogs play and enjoying a cup of tea. Also appreciated the three lovely restaurants we were recommended and where we enjoyed our excellent evening meals.
Anna is a very special host who looked after us perfectly.

Burford is a medium sized Cotswolds town - pretty, lots of places to eat and drink, local independent shops and a good place as a base to explore the wider Cotswolds area.
Burford Golf Club is very close, as is the Cotswolds Wildlife Park. Both recommended.

Burford is a great place to visit.
Burford is a great place to visit. The shops are individual and interesting and it is one of the best places for pubs with open fires in winter. It is a very attractive place with many interesting buildings. A short distance away is a wonderful garden centre.
We ate one night at the Highway Inn where we were staying and the next night at the Lamb. Good meals in both.

Take your camera. There's lots to photograph.
Fantastic Garden Centre just outside is also worth a visit with lots of stores of other items and clothing. The restaurant is excellent.
Exceptionally friendly staff who went out of their way to make your stay comfortable. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and the breakfast really was lovely. The breakfast area was very comfortable and relaxing. The rooms were adequate as you do not spend a lot of time in them. My husband found the bed comfortable but I prefer a firmer mattress. Bathroom was quite spacious, shower was good and there were plenty toiletries for you to use.
Our trip was for my boyfriends birthday and we had the best time!!!
Beautiful pub / bed & breakfast. Room was amazingly spacious and very clean. Breakfast was delicious. Location was perfect (hidden down a little side road from the main Burford strip). Loved all the other pubs in Burford which were all in a short walking distance! Cannot recommend enough - we cant to come again!
Right on the high street in Burford, you can walk to all pubs, shops, cafe’s etc also close to other lovely villages worth visiting! Parking all along the main road with no issues at all. The hotel staff were friendly, helpful and professional. We stayed for my partners birthday and they left a lovely bottle of wine and birthday card in the room, such a thoughtful little touch!
The location of the Pheasant is perfect - half way down the main street and with quick access to all of Burfords amenities. Whilst I only had breakfast in the hotel, it was excellent and freshly prepared.
My room was situated at the back of the hotel and was perfect for one, very quiet. Bathroom was very nice too.
Hotel is comfortable and as you would imagine an historic hotel to be. The room was impressive with a beautiful four poster bed. The staff were approachable and friendly and the Italian food was excellent so that we ate there the two nights we stayed. Close to shops and pubs and restaurants.
having tried over the past 4 to 5 years to book we finally made it unfortunately they only had one night available. on entering the angle at burford we where greeted from a member of there staff with a very welcoming hello we new we had booked a very professional establishment.
The one member of staff who I met, was serving behind the bar and then on Reception and then serving breakfast was very nice and friendly. The downstairs of the hotel was very authentic and parking was easy, breakfast was lovely. Burford is a short walk down the hill and is beautiful.
MY room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was efficient and well cooked. Plenty of choice. Parking on site and just a ten minute walk downhill to Burford town centre. Easy to find and an exceptional garden centre within walking distance of the hotel.
Loved everything from this hotel. The decoration is on point, the room and bed was so comfortable, with everything you need. The hotel itself is super cute, the staff was very nice. It's well located right on the main street of Burford. I will definitely be back.
Beautiful bed and breakfast a ten minute walk from Burford high street. We loved sitting on the patio and listening to all of the birds. Anna was a wonderful host and made a delicious breakfast. Great location to explore the all of the Cotswolds
15th Century building lovingly restored but keeping the period feel. Superb breakfast, Dinner was wonderful and the staff all went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Nothing was an issue. Burford is a gem as is the Bay Tree Hotel.
Nice room, bathroom was small and had limited head height but fine for a night . Nice friendly staff. Location easy access to amenities in Burford. Breakfast is continental, cooked options are extra. Would visit again.
