Very comfortable night's stay. The Sun wasn't doing good that night but they made some recommendations for places nearby. Had a very nice meal across the road. Staff were very helpful for storing our bikes. Complementary continental breakfast in our room as no chef available, very thoughtful.

Family room was beautiful and very comfortable. Owner has taken great care in ensuring the hotel is beautifully presented and within the style of surroundings. Fabulous breakfasts and great service. Do not overlook.
In the heart of the village of Warkworth, this 18th-century coaching inn offers 3-star hotel accommodation less than a mile from the Northumberland coast.
The Sun Hotel is set opposite Warkworth Castle, on the banks of the River Coquet. This hotel features a traditional pub housed in a 17th-century coaching inn.
The beach is beautiful.
Parking near the beach is available but be there earlier rather than later, it fills up quickly and parking in Alnmouth centre is more difficult.
Plenty of amenities in the town for eating, shopping etc

Great part of the UK to visit.
Great part of the UK to visit. First time holidaying in Northumberland (have walked through it before) and it totally bowled me over. So much to see and do, so beautiful.
We had an amazing week here and will definitely come again. Walking, food, history it has it all.

Alnmouth is a small coastal resort with a lovely atmosphere. Everyone is so friendly and there are lots of amenities. The 9 hole golf course is excellent and quite a challenge. The walks along the coastal path are lovely. The meals at the Whittling House were amazing

For all it only has a small high Street, the pubs/restaurants were plenty and the surrounding buildings/area charming! Lovely gift shop and good delicatessen (though not terribly engaging staff 🤔) Ate at Red Lion and the Italian restaurant, part of Hope and Anchor. Great staff here too.
A pleasant walk around main part of Alnmouth and easy access to Craster and Alnwick (by car.)

Pretty village, some nice pubs and hotels. 9 hole golf course although I didn't get a chance to play it.
Avoid at all costs the Schooner Inn. Look up and believe the bad reviews and disbelieve anything over two stars.

Alnmouth is a charming little town right on the coast, in a picturesque location. There are many friendly local inns and a few local independent shops. Within easy cycling or driving distance are attractions such as Alnwick, Dunstanburgh Castle and the Northumberland coastline with a variety of birds to spot too. The beach is fantastic. Easily accessible by train as well as by car.
Perfect B&B in the middle of Alnmouth, a lovely little village on the coast of Northumberland.
The room was beautiful and luxurious, the bed really comfortable and the bathroom/toiletries first class.
Harvey was the perfect host and cooked wonderful breakfasts!
We wouldn't hesitate to return again when visiting the area.
A very friendly pub with a comfortable, nicely designed room. The shower was particularly excellent. The pizzas were delicious and very good value given that Alnmouth isn't a cheap place. A short walk to the beautiful sea and coastal path. Alnmouth itself is pretty and well located to explore the Northumberland coast.
Excellent location, just a few minutes walk to pubs, shops and beach.
Well equipped and everything was clean and finished to a high standard.
We loved the terrace, perfect spot for morning coffee and an evening gin.
Garden was enclosed so safe for dogs. Alnmouth is a beautiful little village.
Breakfast was delicious with good choices on the menu. The staff were all friendly and happy to share their knowledge about things to see and do locally.
Our room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The bathroom seemed to have been recently refurbished and the shower was lovely.
Beautiful luxurious room in an elegant small hotel. Fantastic restaurant. We had a walk on one of the best beaches in the UK when we arrived and just after breakfast. The staff were lovely. Breakfast was stunningly good. Just excellent and we will return.
Location was excellent, parking available which s a huge bonus in Alnmouth.
Breakfast was very good, lots of choice and served quickly
Premises were very clean and tastefully decorated
Walking distance to several excellent restaurants and local shops
The location was excellent, the village is absolutely gorgeous. The hotel rooms were amazing, the staff looked after us and the breakfast was amazing. The food is locally sourced and tasted great.
The owner was really helpful and provided extra things for the kitchen that we needed. The apartment very comfortable and is right in the centre of Alnmouth and close to lovely beach walks.
Great location right on the sea front. The on sight parking was a bonus as it is difficult to park in Alnmouth. Accommodation was a good size, comfortable with all the facilities required.
Beautiful location, super friendly staff, great room for a very reasonable price. The breakfast was brilliant as well. Would happily go back and I recommend it to anyone visiting Alnmouth.
What a wonderful stay at the Red Lion in Alnmouth. The breakfast was amazing with top quality food on offer. The room was beautiful with everything you would need for a short break.
Good location and views. Spacious bathroom which includes a bath. Good to have parking as this is a problem in Alnmouth. Tasty breakfast served up to 9.30.
