Ähus is close to Kristianstad so it makes sense to spend some time there as well and checkout the laidback city. Åhus is a sleepy little town and its worth visiting the Absolut vodka museam and factory.

Very nice looking hotel, I think they renovated it very recently. A big parking is available. We had a room on the ground floor, which looked brand new. The hallway to get there was rather uncosy and not entirely finished though. The breakfast was great. Plenty of options.
