Large room with all the utensils, cooking and washing facilities you need. Huge terrace with plenty of room for a family and room to move. I would highly recommend hiring a car as the location is very quiet, there is a bar across the road but doesn’t make much noise, Lidl/aldi is a 2 minute drive away. Extra sheets and towels are present as standard.

The town was a nice quiet place outside of the hustle of the Algarve region, in particular Faro. We stayed there after arriving to get away from the crowds and just have a nice quiet evening in a small town where we could go for dinner, have a safe walk and just relax after a long flight. The hosts are a lovely British couple running the family hotel. Supermarket - Lidl, Aldi & good Indian + other restaurants are at a walking distance of about 10mins. Breakfast was very nice, it really made our day, also the pool was good. Personal vehicle preferred, but public transport is also accessible (depending upon its availability).

It seems that the house was just renovated, nothing looks warn down. Has plenty of room inside the house, out in the yard, or around the pool for 6 people. Great and friendly host with a constant smile on his face! We would definitely return in the summer.

The host was very welcoming and communicated well. As it was Sunday and New Year’s Eve with shops to be closed some delicious treats awaited us, including bread, butter, beer, wine and pastries. We did really appreciate this surprise. Boliqueime makes a great base to reach the central Algarve’s natural beauty’s including the backcountry. Also supermarkets and cafes are found within walking distance.

We traveled both east and west on very good roads. The hotel is located off the highway and is very quiet. The grounds are beautiful. The buildings date from 1932, but have been remodeled inside. The room was spacious, the bath very large and modern. The breakfasts were delicious, weather permitting served just outside our room. Most of all Tom and his staff were gracious and welcoming.
