A characterful historic building and a very comfortable room. Everything required in the room and very comfortable. Most of all, the owners were both charming, interesting and friendly. Breakfast was wonderful and managed well in terms of accommodating all the guests.

Kampen is a so called Hansecity like Hamburg, Lubeck or Bremen in Germany. Nice little town. Grote Markt with a lot of possibility of eating-out. River Ijssel is runng through city. Many canals like in Amsterdam.

The hosts are warm, friendly and certainly make you feel welcome. The rooms are in an old city farmhouse, so the layout is quirky and has charm. The room had ample space, with a nice seating area outside. Not your typical boring cookie-cutter hotel room. Great location with less than a five-minute walk into town. Had no problem finding a free parking space nearby.

The location is amazing, the room is beautiful and a great breakfast. Comfortable bed, amazing shower and lots of space. We could park right in front of the hotel and leave the car there since everything in Kampen is at walking distance. We'll definitely come back!
