Small tiny cottage, with 4 beds, table, 4 chairs and small kitchen corner with Basic equipement. We stayed only oné night, so this accomodation was sufficient. No fridge, no warher in the cottage. We did not meet the host or any camp staff, they let the keys in locker for us, which was great. Common toilets very clean.

Heerlen is small, welcoming and clean -- lots of nice restaurants and a fabulous Greek restaurant "El Greco" on Pancratiusplein 39. We would go to the El Greco again and again! Indoor skiing at Landgraaf not far away.

The city itself is not my destination.
The city itself is not my destination.
I spend 2 days, in which 1 day goes to Aachen (Germany), and the other day to Gaia Zoo and Kasteel Hoensbroek.
The public transport is convenient, if you plan your trip in advance.
I was totally satisfied by my stay at Stadshotel Botterwerk. I arrived there after the possible time for check-in, but they were quietly cool about it and they arranged everything for me to take the key. I also had a problem with Booking.com regarding my reservation. The reception called booking personally and she followed this issue very closely. The room was quite comfortable and clean. The location of the hotel is perfect. It's located in the heart of the city.
All in all, I highly recommend it.
Lovely B&B! The room was very clean and comfortable. The wall painting was referencing the mining history of the city. Shower was nice, the bed was comfortable, although slightly smaller than we're used to. Extensive breakfast, eggs are cooked for you on the spot by the owners. Walking distance from the center. Would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone looking to spend a few nights in Heerlen.
Loved the look and feel of this B&B. Our room was warm and spacious with high ceilings and underfloor heating. The breakfast was exceptional, our request for non dairy and gluten free did not phase our jovial host and we were spoilt rotten. The breakfast room itself was a very homely and relaxing space...
It was a short walk from Heerlen City Centre and the beautiful Moon Quarter
The location and hotel are just superb - this has been my 3rd time and it never dissapoints. The breakfast is consistently good with a lot of choice. The restaurant (did not eat here this time but my colleague did) is very good and highly recommended. The room was very spacious and it even had it's own castle tower.
The room was spacious, mattress and pillows very comfortable… restaurants and service amazing!
They offer me gluten free bread for breakfast which was really good and not easy to find in hotels , thank you to the people on the breakfast section !!! Staff in general very friendly and helpful.
The sauna and pool are fantastic amenities. completely renovated facilities; the rooms are clean, modern and spacious; the food in the restaurant is affordable and good quality; the staff are nice and friendly - will definitely go back!
We felt immediately at home in the apartment with its cozy and warm atmosphere, which is exactly what we wanted staying in Heerlen during holiday season. It was clean, and there was everything we needed to have a comfortable stay.
We have stayed at this hotel many times when visiting family. It is always a good stay, the staff are friendly and happy to help where they can. The rooms are clean, comfortable and have all you need for a short stay.
Great location next to herleen station.
The hotel manager was super friendly and understanding as we arrived later than checkin time. The room was very clean, and confortable, and the appartment had all amenities.
I loved the location in city center, a short walk from art museum, historic church, fun shops , farmers market, train station, grocery, and performing arts center. Several small taverns in front of the hotel.
Nearby bars and restaurants. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Having a lift/elevator was very handy. Kettle and a fridge - really? I wouldn't have stayed another night in this hell hole.
