I loved the romantic atmosphere of the hotel and the cozy single room. Everything was spotless clean and worked well. I had a very short stay, but I would really liked to stay longer. The personnel (Daniela) was very friendly, accommodated a last-minute change of date and waited for my late arrival, even if we had agreed on automatic key delivery. The location is very central and suited well my need for a short stopover near the train station

It is a small and charming town, but there is really not much to do, you can see all the sights in a single day. But if you're planning to explore the surrounding areas for the lakes and hikes, then it is a good base location.

We only stayed one night in Villach on our way to an extended stay in Italy. We had a wander round the old town however and it appeared to have many very interesting features. We intend to come back for a longer stay next year to explore Villach and the surrounding area of beautiful Austrian countryside.

Fabulous little city, romantic downtown, great church. Shopping and pedestrian zone superb. Landskron castle a must visit, Food and amenities super. Downtown hotels are very attractive and stylish, the river Drau is impressive. The lakes, Faaker and Ossiacher are brillant and pristine. Would go back in a heartbeat, stay was too short.

Historic and peacefull village and Ideal location for exploring the astonishing landscape of Carinthia or to stay a night for some rest if you are crossing the Alps. If you are a traveller you have to keep in mind that restaurants close early for dinner.

A nice and quiet town, however there are a lot of places to hang out at night and have a good time. Good restaurants not just typical ones. Perfect for a summer or a winter vacation: ski-area quite close, lakes very near, biking and hiking route

Nassfeld mountain filled our day with great excitement, such as: Cable car, flying fox adventure park and a cool slide down the mountain. Minimundus and few hours by the lake were nice too. Other than that we were short on ideas of things to do nearby- So we recommend to spend 3 days max here.
From seamless communication to a smooth check-in process, everything was impeccable. The location couldn't have been more convenient for travelers passing through the city. The complimentary parking was a definite bonus, eliminating any hassle for those traveling by car. We appreciated the timely receipt of detailed instructions, making our arrival stress free. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend your place to fellow travelers.
Kind regards,
Milica
The apartment is really in a good position, near the centre of Villach, two supermarkets and the hot springs of Warmbad. The structure is an old hotel converted in a bunch of apartments which is a wonderful idea.
The bathroom is completely renovated, featuring a big shower (which could really use a shower curtain). The owner left towels, shampoos, and a hairdryer.
The structure offers an underground garage that is really helpful especially in winter and rainy days.
Our second stay here as we were satisfied with first stay.
Nice cosy aparment, spacious, not newest but still comfortable. Dining area, living room, 2 bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and toilette.Parking in garage (our suv did not fit in, owner was really nice to have us switch parking place with neighbor). Quiet neighborhood, shopping center a few minutes away by car. Will definitely check as option nr. 1 any time we come to Villach
Beautiful boutique hotel located in the city center, plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.
The room was clean, and seemed to have been renovated recently.
Bed was very comfortable, the room itself was nice and quiet, bathroom was spacious. Room included water heater and tea and coffee. Breakfast was great and plenty, the restaurant that is part of the hotel has great food, but is closed on Mondays
Great value-for-money hotel, centrally located (just 10 walking minutes from Villach city center), easy access, free parking facilities, comfy beds, useful vending machines in the lobby. Lots of supermarkets and gas station just around the corner. Rooms are quiet and noise-proof. Firm Wi-Fi connection with easy access. The staff is very accommodating and friendly.
If you’re coming by car, you can park at the garage just across the street from the hotel (Altstadtgarage Nikolai) and follow the signs for the hotel. It’s a public garage but it’s connected to the hotel itself.
The restaurant in the hotel is excellent and they have room service.
Great location in central Villach and a beautiful view.
The room was a good size and nicely decorated. We had a nice large balcony with a table and chairs. The breakfast buffet was quite good. The hotel location was perfect, right on the main pedestrian street with shops and restaurants. They also had a luggage storage area so we could explore more on the town on our departure day.

Wonderful traditional hotel steeped in history in beautiful Villach. Very convenient location with parking nearby. Walkable to everything. The staff is the star, however, friendly and the hotel is beautifully maintained.
Very good location, near the motorway and the Tesla supercharger, but quiet at night. The restaurant worths a Michelin star super dinner. Perfect breakfast! “Tüchtig” Austrian hotel. Nice staff.
The parking was provided in their garage. The location could not have been better, located in the heart of Villach. it had an air conditioner! Was very clean and comfortable.
