The house is beautifully built with a wonderful terrace overlooking the valley and the chateau beyond. The rooms are huge and comfortable and the lounge area was so welcoming and tastefully decorated with lots of games and books and information about the area. We were invited to make tea from a huge selection of herbal teas and we were offered a bottle of local beer on arrival. Maryanne and Julien were wonderful hosts and the breakfast was fabulous - local cheeses, honey, jams, bread, eggs from the resident hens and delicious coffee. We will definitely return! There was also a lovely tavern with a great menu within a 5 minute walk of the property.

My friend and I stayed at Le Pepin Dort for one night during a two-day hike on the GR 573. Le Pepin Dort had everything we needed: a great hot shower in a clean bathroom, two cosy beds and everything we needed to have a proper breakfast (tea, coffee and a bakery nearby). Chantal, the sweet owner, came by to greet us and make sure we had everything we needed. In advance of the stay, she also offered us to arrange and book us a breakfast in a nearby restaurant if we wanted that. We really appreciated those kind gestures.
I'd recommend Le Pepin Dort if you like staying in a place that feels a bit like home.

The tiny house (roullotte) is brand new and well equiped. It's very charming. We loved the terrace with a beautiful view over the valley.
The owners live in the house next door and are very friendly.

Location in centre of town. Very stylish room and super modern bathroom facilities.
Nice gardens. Quiet surroundings. Good quality furnishings.
Nice gardens. Quiet surroundings. Good quality furnishings. Comfortable bed. Pleasant staff.
It is worth noting the restaurant is closed on Sunday evening.
Breakfast is significantly overpriced at 25Euro's/head.
At Lafarques, everything is excellent - the environment, rooms, decorations, breakfast, and last but not least, the staff. Especifically Jean's hospitality is so great that you'll forget you're in a hotel but as if you are a guest at your friend's place (read palace!).
If you stay at Lafarques, don't miss the chance to relax in the jacuzzi while listening to the tranquil sounds of birds singing and the occasional bass bleat of a sheep from far away!
Very nice looking hotel with friendly staff. Large spacious room with very nice comfortable beds and cushions. Very clean. Shower and toilet were split which was ideal not to block them if the other is in use. Towels were available. Elevator to the rooms. Good parking. Nice view from the room. Towels were available, with some shower gel. Room was cleaned by staff during our stay.
Breakfast had poor selection. Worst I’ve seen anywhere in the world! Water for tea was tepid! My son only had one meal, and refused to go on subsequent days. On the penultimate morning did not even have a cold boiled egg on offer!
Hotel in the middle of nowhere. If I had known the reality, would never have chosen it!
Impressive building, clean, quiet. Handy parking. The place appears to be some kind of religious retreat and has the air of a hostel rather than a B&B or hotel, but it was clean and spacious.
Very cozy hotel surrounded by beautiful nature. Nice swimming pool & sauna. Very friendly hotel staff. Excellent breakfast and fine food & drinks for lunch & dinner. Dogs were welcome too.
