Wonderful experience and beautiful view.
Wonderful experience and beautiful view. We look the boat to the far end of Konigssee and hiked straight up for 2 hours to the waterfall. It was strenuous, but worth it. We stopped at Bartholomew on the way back, had a very good lunch at the restaurant and relaxed by the water before returning. The boats were very comfortable, clean and well maintained. Highly recommend.

The town is beautiful! There’s a lot to do in the area.
The town is beautiful! There’s a lot to do in the area. I definitely recommend taking the boat tour across the lake to both Salet and St. Bartholoma. The hikes at both were incredible! There are several shops and restaurants near the lake with a lot of options for food and souvenirs. There’s a lot of parking as you get close to the waterfront. I do recommend getting there early though as the lots do fill up. Bring some coins for the parking meter as well. Definitely recommend a trip here!AAnonymous - 8.0Scored 8.0

What a beautiful place to spend time! The weather was perfect, the scenery was beautiful, the people were nice, and my husband and I enjoyed it so much. We can't wait to visit again because there is so much more to experience!

Get there early. There's a lot of people here. You had to wait in line to climb the mountain but I'm not complaining cause it's spectacular there. I wish they had a common area trash can though cause I kept picking up discarded trash from other visitors.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

When planning to visit Königssee, there could not be a Moree lovely place to stay. The lady who runs the house couldn't have been more helpful. Everything is clean, tidy and neat. Breakfast - lovely.

The first room we stayed in (Room 2) was simply furnished, but adequate for two person. bathroom was a little small but overall ok. we had a change of room for another two nights. this time it’s one that has a balcony and looking into the lake directly ( Room 4). room was fantastic- newly renovated, modern looking and spacious. breakfast was good, sufficient choices of cold cuts, cheeses, bread, fruits for yogurt etc.

Boat rides just start in front of the hotel. The hotel is situated just at the start of the sea. The nearest bus stop is just 3-4 minutes away. It was a wonderful stay as a solo traveler. The pools and saunas are so nice and the food is also delicious. Beautiful landscape and views of the mountains. I thought the price was very reasonable with all of the available amenities. I wish I could have stayed longer!

The location is great, we’ve been walking to the Königssee for less then an hour incl stops for pictures and so on. The place was really clean, pretty and breakfast was also superb. The stuff is simply the best. Such kind and friendly people making you feel like home. Overall can recommend!
