The room was great and clean. The breakfast offered a lot of options. But, on top of all that, i would like to extend a big THANK YOU to the amazing staff of the hotel: professional, friendly, kind, attentive and super helpful. We will for sure revisit them.

There were ten of us in the apartment, three generations, and no problem. It was spacious, whoever wanted it had their privacy. We will definitely come back next year, when we take the kids to Legoland again

Everythink in Günzburg was excellent.
Everythink in Günzburg was excellent. Easy to get there by train. Cosy center with lovely coffee an ice shops and resturants. We stayed in the hotel Goldene Traube three nights. We had a regular breakfast at the Reissler bakery (caffee, brezel, cakes..). We enjoyed pizzas and minestrone soups in Guntia pizzeria- very friendly to kids. Soups, kaesepaetzle, Maximillian's gulash, salats, kinderschnizel and apple fritters in brasserie Maximillan's at Marktplatz would recommend. Ice cream in Eiscafe numero Uno was dream for kids. And Legoland was above expectations: great fun for kids, but also for adults! Legoland was also easy accesable by a shuttle bus from train station.

We went there just for Legoland.
We went there just for Legoland. However we did try one Vietnamese restaurant (Schnell Restaurant Pham) and we like it so much we stuck with it! The three days we were there we ate only at Mrs Pham's!
Getting around the town on foot is easy.
Next time I would avoid renting an ev. This process of finding a way to pay for the charging of your electirc car is a nightmare for those not familiar with how this thing works in Germany and even worst for people like me that do not speak German.

Günzburg, a small town on the Danube has a delightful old central area with a thousand years of history. I knew absolutely nothing about it before, but spent three days on my own to kill time before travelling from a meeting here in the restored Castle - Schloss Reisensburg, on a hill overlooking the Danube, to another meeting in Italy. The Hotel Hirsch was a lucky choice, being right in the centre of the old town, where many of the buildings and views have been carefully restored with respect for their renaissance or baroque history. You can take a guided tour to visit the spectacularl rococo cathedral, and learn why it appears to be joined at the hip to a secondary school. It's a beautiful example of Zimmerman's architecture, with an interesting backstory. Look at the houses on the line of the old city walls, whose upper floors project successively further over the street below, and discover why one of the surviving towers on the city wall is called the Kuhturm (cow tower). For lots more information and relics of its period under the Romans and when it was in Austria under the Habsburgs, as well as more recent times, I can recommend the Heimatmuseum, but it's only open on Sunday afternoons. For dinner I got lucky in two of my three choices. Almost opposite the hotel is an excellent Greek restaurant called Platia, and a couple of blocks away an amazing Italian restaurant called Backstube at Ηοfgasse 21. I wouldn't bother with a couple of others which appeared on the web to be good.

Typical german town with a small old town.
Typical german town with a small old town. Nice old houses around Marktplatz.
It was hard to find a decent coffee/breakfast location. Lots of empty locations, probebly due to Covid.
If you want to visit Legoland, Günzburg is a very good place to stay. Its only about 9 Minutes by car away.
The hotel is not very far from the train station in Gunzburg, it's overall easy to find. There is a supermarket just nearby, which can be useful. Loved our room, very cosy and clean, big bathroom as well. The staff was kind & helpful. Breakfast offers a vast selection of sweet and savoury food, including plant-based milks/drinks. The lobby is well decorated and cosy. There's a bar, as well as a mini-bar and mini-shop at the reception.
Good location for visiting Legoland (appr.5 min by car), nice neighborhood (city center with cafes and restaurants), train station is quite close, clean and comfortable rooms, tasty breakfast, easy self check-in. We use parking along the street (free of charge at night), but hotel has their own parking also (down the street, there are even detailed maps in rooms with instructions). We enjoy our staying :)
Tidy rooms cleaned every day, new equipment. Spacious bathroom and balcony. Fair standard. Self-catering breakfast buffet with a good selection of food (warm, ready to eat soft-boiled eggs available). Convenient free car parking at the hotel. The lady at the reception is very friendly and helpful, speaks fluent English. Legoland in 10 min driving distance.
Uzay was very flexible and very supportive all the time.
The apartment is great, very new, enough space for family and nice bathroom, perfect for those visiting Legoland and also Metzingen (Outlet City) at same period of time.
Close to the park and markets, will be back for sure when coming to this region for more than 1 day.
Veronika was a very helpful and friendly host. She organized Tickets for Legoland for us. Very uncomplicated and easy check in. The Pension is located right in the center of the old town.
We had some trouble finding a decent breakfast location on Sunday. But thats not the Hotels fault. Just be aware :)
Is very decent apartment and well maintained. Very clean and well within my expectation.. The host also found very supportive and extend his support and provide help and advice whenever is needed. This appartment is very close to Legoland .. and has its own parking lot
located In the city center. closer to the Train and bus station, closer to Legoland Deutschland. Friendly and helpfull staff. Nice breakfast, when you enjoy the nice food, the room keeper makes your room ready ;)
The hotel is in the immediate vicinity of the Legoland park and very close to the highway.
Very good option for a family stay if planning to go to visit the Legoland park.
Very good price for quality choice.
Nice location in a lovely small German town. Surronded by nice restaurants, coffe shops and bakery.
We were lucky to find free parking spot in the hotel private parking. 5 minutes from Legoland.
Very close to Legoland and Günzburg city, friendly personal, toys and games available for the kids, well equiped kitchen, netflix, garden with trampoline, clean house. Ideal for small family :)
The hotel is 5 minutes from Legoland (by car). The staff is very friendly. We stayed in a very large and clean triple room. In the inner courtyard there is a small playground for children.
Hotel was fine and staff was great! We booked a room for 4. 2 beds were good. 2 beds were not too good.
