Beautiful, walkable city retaining its character with numerous roman ruins and historic sites. Fun to explore tiny side streets and great restaurants. Watch out for the Mistral - you might need layers or a warmer jacket!

It doesn’t get so many tourists but tourist traps abound. But if you look selectively for a good restaurant you will find several and we had four outstanding dinners. It’s small but cozy and clean with lots of cute squares for tea or a drink. Several good museums and roman monuments. Four days is not too long.

The Easter feria is a good time to visit Arles, although food and service can be as low as 'poor'. Plenty of culture from Roman ruins to street bands. Excellent and elegant Museum of Arles. Wonderful street market on Saturdays with high quality goods. Shops, ranging from very high end local produce and clothing, to convenience stores, most open all (public holiday) weekend.

Arles is just gorgeous, but I also really recommend a guided trip into the Camargue, stunning nature and history. We were guided by Christophe from the official guide association, great experience. Also, the saturday market is a must! A lot of great things on offer to take with you on a picknick in the country-side just outside of Arles!

Charming city. Easy walk to all sights.
Charming city. Easy walk to all sights. Interesting Roman ruins and beautiful Romanesque church. Excellent archeological museum. Welcoming and helpful people. Beautiful little shops. Highly recommended.
This was a small hotel on the banks of the Seinne. The location was ideal for exploring Arles. Our room overlooked the river Seinne. Arles is a delightful little town and when we visited there was a convention for photographers. The climate was ideal because we were basked in the gentle breeze from the mistral, a relief after the extreme heat of summer 2022. Arles had plenty to see and do. We also had delicious meals as you might expect in a French town.
The Hotel is on a nice little square right in the center of Arles, a two minute walk away from the Amphitheatre. Perfect to explore the city. The staff is exceptionally welcoming and helpful! There is a place to store your bike. The breakfast is good! Croissant, baguette, fromage, yoghurt, fresh fruit, everything you need. You can eat inside or outside on the terrace. Very nice! If I ever come to Arles again, I would always come back here!
I had a pleasant stay at this small hotel. A walking distance from the train station. The room was good size and split to form a semi-suite. Bathroom good size too and plenty of hot water. Everything spick n’ span clean. Staff was both helpful and extremely friendly. So was the staff of the restaurant. Its menu was interesting but always tasty. Lots of small dishes and I can especially recommend the courgette terrine. Truely great.
Hosts were extremely helpful and, knowledgeable. Excellent breakfast and an amazing location right in the old town in walking distance of all of Arles attractions. Very helpful getting the car into the VERY narrow streets to unload lugge and to find a parking space. B&B full of character in an excellent location. Very arty town. Hotel has some explicit paaintings. Good reccomendations for evening meals.
Beds are comfy. Breakfast is good, you can boil your own egg, and press your own orange juice… friendly staff. They have some information, folders, maps about the area. I have stayed in this hotel before, and booked it again because because it has a private parking, and it is close to Arles centre, 1,5 km… and they have one tv channel in english, bbc world news…
The hotel has loads of atmosphere, and the room was spacious, clean and comfortable - there was also a fridge which was handy. Plenty of hanging space. The breakfast was great. The hotel is located on a quiet street near the main square (Place de la Republique). The heating was excellent - this is important as Arles is very cold and windy in February.
The house is situated right in the center of Arles well within walking distance of all important sites. Although this isn’t a hotel, you have the whole of the second floor for your stay. Although the floor has only two rooms, the bedroom is very large with double bed, fridge, tv and tea and coffee facilities, and the bathroom is very clean.
We had a lovely stay at Maison de charme d’Arles. The location is excellent in the centre of the city close to all the historical sites, museums and restaurants. Francois was a charming host who provided a delicious breakfast, excellent coffee and engaging conversation. We highly recommend this property.
Very nice house with great outdoor space and secure parking. Comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, nice living room with ample space. Bathroom is set up nicely for sharing the house with another couple. Location is good. Easy access to the highway and Arles. Would definitely stay here again!
Suzanna was a lovely host, check-in process was very easy. She also has a couple of bikes guests can borrow to explore Arles and the surrounding area. Only a few minutes from the city center by bus. Beautiful garden out back.
Such a lovely central place to say and really helpful staff! I also appreciated that they park your car for you when you take the hotels parking option. It’s not easy manoevering around Arles!
The hotel is around 10 min further from Arles center and is a nice farm.
The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent.
It was a nice and hassle free stay.
Brit Hotel Acacias is a nice small friendly hotel located right in the city center of Arles only few meters from the Arena. Great location and really nice staff!
the rooms were clean. the air conditioning worked well. the hotel was close to the train station and Arles is small so it was close enough to everything.
