If you are visiting the Dolomite mountains, Siusi is perhaps the place to stay. The cable car facilities are in the town. This cable car will take up the mountains into an open valley where you can see the mountains all around you. You can walk down this valley a few hundred yards and take a chair lift to a higher point where your eye sight can reach peaks like Marmolada much farther away. Siusi is full of hotels and several restaurants. It is a nice little town cubbyholed in the mountains, but easy and safe to reach.

Hiking in Alpe de Suise was fantastic.
Hiking in Alpe de Suise was fantastic. Driving in Italy problematic for Americans as Italians tailgate CONSTANTLY even on narrow and curved mountain roads. Scooter drivers and motorcyclysits have no regard to traffic laws and are frankly dangerous.

Siusi si a small mountain place, where you can find everything what you want for your holiday. Cablecar, playground for kids, cafeteria, bus station, church, shop, gas station, etc. And nice surrounding everywhere...
The Sud Tyrol Hospitality at its best.
Amazing staff and managers who run very comfortable and well organized facilities in a great location (even though it's not located in the ski area exactly, it's near the main lift station at Alpe di Siuisi. which you can reach by car or bus). Beautifully decorated, spacious room (we stayed in a Green Suite), good food, fabulous service in a familiar - and very professional - unit that more than accommodation, is a whole experience.
Many thanks to the Thomaseth Family, we had a great time.
The unit was very nice, clean, complete cooking and dining amenities, but you have to bring your own supplies. Spectacular view! We enjoyed dining at the balcony. Manager was friendly and accommodating and helped us with our needs. They also gave us a card which allowed us to have unlimited rides in the public buses during our stay. The location was near the beautiful walking trails to Siusi and Castelrotto.
Clean comfy room with balcony looking out toward beautiful church whose bells don't wake you at night. The owners did all they could to make us feel at home, and run a friendly pub that lots of neighbors enjoy. It's conveniently located near the cable car to Compatsch on Alpe di Siusi. The small village of Siusi is lovely while nearby Kastelruth has all you need, including a selfserve laundromat.
We booked the rooftop apartment and can’t recommend it enough. Spacious, bright, cozy, awesome design. Well equipped kitchen and a lot of storage space, comfortable bed and great bathroom. Covered parking and lift (great if you have extra baggage). The wellness area is lovely too. Staff is really nice, particularly Hilde. We had a wonderful stay at Paula and in Siusi.
The Green suite we booked was very nicely laid out, private and roomy. I loved the outdoor spaces and all the windows. We did use the sauna and outdoor bathtub and the lounging hammock. It was luxurious. The hotel amenities were nice as well. We enjoyed their outdoor patio for drinks and the food in the restaurant was very delicious and so convenient.
The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the views are breathtaking. It is central to a lot of the places we wanted to see in the Dolomites. The women in the front desk were wonderful as was the staff serving for breakfast and dinner. The food was also wonderful. And they provided our infant with a seat at the table which was really appreciated.
This hotel is wonderful for anyone wanting peace and quiet. The gardens are so peaceful and you can sit anywhere you want and just enjoy the ambience. The owner - Petra - works hard to make you welcome and we were very impressed by everything. The staff were very friendly. There was a concert in the garden one evening, and it was great
Apartment was very good accommodation inside a pretty village. It is well located with Alpe di Siusi close by. There are a few bars in the village and there is possibility to buy provisions from the supermarket a few mins walk away.
It is 5 mins drive to Castelrotto and was very convenient for us for walks etc.
The location, host, and room were spectacular. We were given a bus pass to use if we'd like and that was super nice. The cable car up to Seiser Alm is just a few minutes drive with the cute town of Castelrotto just down the other way a bit, making it an ideal location.
What a lovely, restful hotel in the Dolomites. The apartment was large and clean, very well furnished and luxurious. Amazing view of the mountains. The staff were all extremely helpful and the breakfast was generous and delicious. Would love to come back one day.
Stunning location, great farmhouse experience.
Elizabeth is a lovely host and was very helpful with local guidance, accommodative with late check in. Loved eggs and yoghurt fresh from the farm. Would highly recommend for stay on Alpe Di Suis.
The hotel is close to the cable car Alpe di Suisi and to the bus station. The room was very clean and the location of the hotel was outstanding. Good breakfast, good quality of the coffee.
Ulli and Reinhard are extremely friendly hosts!
The property is cute and awesome. 5-min drive from the beautiful st Vigil golf course. Staff at the hotel were super helpful and nice . The interior environment felt like home. Sauna was available . Food was delicious.
Probably one of the best hotels I've stayed in. Food is absolutely excellent, staff are fantastic and so helpful, made our stay just perfect. I would most definitely recommend this Boutique hotel to anyone.
The Ritterhof is an absolute gem for visits to the Dolomites. The staff was exceptional and thoughtful. The gourmet meals were astonishing. Location was in the heart of the mountain area.
