After arrivel at Palermoairport we stayed two nights to visit Palermo the next day. The house is alongside the SS113, in Santa Flavia- just outside Palermo, and could park our car on the private property (host gave us the code for the gate). We slept in room #9 (with balcony). Comfortable and clean. Free coffeemakermachine on the ground floor (machine is a little noisy).
Trainstation within 500 m. Every hour train to Palermo. Buy your tickets at the Tabacchi near the station.

The Hotel Borgia di Ciaula exceeded my expectations in every way. Its ideal location offered easy access to the beach, charming cafes and restaurants. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. My room was spacious, elegantly furnished, and provided a cozy retreat after a day of sightseeing. I highly recommend this Hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay.

I've particularly appreciated the friendly and accommodating staff, always willing to help with a smile.
The room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast was varied and fresh.
Good location, calm with beautiful view on the sea from the room (despite the train that passes not far from the property - It wasn't a big deal!).
Will definitely go back there!

We enjoyed relaxing on the terrace, having some wine and Aperol Spritz! The kids played on the beach and, despite the colder weather, in the water. The sunsets and sunrises, when not obstructed by cloudy weather, we gorgeous. We enjoyed driving to different places to see more of the island.
We loved Cefalù -- what I expected to see from an Italian village. Palermo was nice, but driving is not for the faint of heart.
We also made a long trip to Valley of the Temples.

lovely little town but a bit grubby in places & quite noisy near to the port where our accommodation was. Within walking distance of the station which is how we arrived. We were reccommended a great little take away pizzeria by the host which the locals use & it was a couple of minutes walk away.

Santa Flavia is very good for those who want to escape from busy tourist attractions and sites, resorts. It was a good chance to experience how locals live their lives in Sicily. There were no turists here. You can get to the capital by train easily.
Unfortunatelly streets are dirty and there is a big contrast between their garbage recycling laws in the properties and the dirt in the street , at the sea.

Not a holiday destination, but a good base for exploring surrounding areas. Restaurants in Porticello port were nice. Definitely need a car to get around although the train service is excellent. Feel like you are staying in a neighbourhood rather than a tourist destination.

House is in a fantastic location with the most spectacular views of the ocean and the cape, very comfortable with all the amenities you could imagine. New bathrooms and a very well stocked kitchen for the budding chef, there are a few restaurants within easy walking distance. Direct access to the wonderful beach, very clean, pebbles but easy on the feet. Don’t hesitate to book.

Whilst I enjoyed my Sicilian holiday that was largely as a result of visits to Etna and Villa Romana del Casale. The island was amongst the dirtiest places I have every visited - and I have been to over 90 countries. Streets were awash with rubbish and every layby contained a mattress, settee or bags of rubbish. The standard of driving on the island is abysmal, and dangerous. The mosquitos were ferocious. I will not be returning
Hotel was very comfortable and its central location was great for walking to beaches , if you walk further towards the Lighthouse the beach there is a lot nicer than ones closer by, there's sunbeds for hire etc (would recommend beach shoes because of sharp rocks and weaver fish) , the little Bistro went out of their way to cater for my partner who's a coeliac. Not far from Hotel is a supermarket and a couple places in the town ,Pharmacy for after sun cream ,the sun was scorching.
The apartment is on a quiet street in Santa Flavia. Short walk to the beaches. Great pizza place nearby (Pizza Monet), as well as a small supermarket and cafe/bakery. Very close to the train station. A huge plus is the spacious terrace. About a half hour walk to the archaeological site and Monte Catalfano for great hikes. There is also a tap with filtered water so no need to buy bottled water - saves on plastic!
Excellent accommodation with a fantastic roof terrace with great views. The host is very pleasant and served breakfast on the terrace. A small kitchen and indoor dining room was shared with two other rooms on the same floor (although none of us used it except for the fridge). Good aircon and wifi. Good value and would definitely recommend. Santa Flavia is a small and very pleasant place.
Stayed in prestige double room with sea view for 7 nights. The complex and views are amazing. The scenery is breathtaking. Big shout out to Jed in the restaurant who was very kind and friendly. Also, Vincenzo the taxi driver and his family. A trip to Cefalu and Palermo is recommended. The tour guide is excellent. One lady spoke excellent English at reception which was a great help.
Case Giannone was just what we needed after some time in Palermo. The host was really nice and she made sure we had a great stay. The breakfast was amazing - everything that you would need (salty & sweet). The rooms are very big and clean, the view from the balcony was amazing (garden and sea as well). There is a private free parking. Restaurants and beaches are few minutes walk away.
This spacious appartement is very well equipped and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised by a basket of localy-grown lemons and the quality of the coffee provided. The staff is very kind and helpful. The views are just splendid; Santa Flavia is a very picturesque little town! If you have a car, this is a good starting point for your explorations of the region.
The location was ideal for a trip into Palermo for a day as the train station was really close. Parking was available right outside the property. We found a pizzeria in walking distance. The host was helpful in meeting us at the property promptly and providing the information that we needed. The area is quiet. Lived having an outside washing line.
kind welcoming staff and delicious breakfast every morning. you are an 8 minute walk from a good restaurant open for all meals and snacks, about 10 minute drive to other great places in Santa Flavia area. So relaxing-we felt at home. Visit Santa Elia for the steps to the sea and Capo Zafferano for the most beautiful meadow, coves, and sea views
Well maintained property, Vincenzo the host was very responsive and the villa had everything you need. The large terrace had spectacular sea and mountain views. Location was perfect and allowed for easy access to Palermo, Cefalu and some of the smaller towns along ss113. Highly recommend this place.
We were thinking about staying in Palermo but are happy we stayed here instead and got a rental car. Amazing hosts, this was truly a great find. Room was nice, clean, and we had our own private patio. Pool was nice to cool off in and escape the heat.
Its very nice, perfect perfect if you wanna visit Palermo. St. Flavia is peaceful and quiet, and app. Is 2 minutes from train station. 20 minutes more and you are in Palermo. And the apartment is huge. I would consider staying here the second time.
The apartment is exactly as described: clean, quiet and the view from the terrace is wonderful. Carla was very nice and responsive. The location is ideal for discovering Palermo by car. The restaurant next door is very good, try it!
Available parking on the street. Super nice staff, Julia and Diane were very helpful. On-sit restaurant. Good view. Breakfast on the yard. Good breakfast. Hotel did laundry of my travel clothes within half a day for a goo price
Wonderful quiet place to stay outside Santa Flavia and Bagheria and near Palermo. Suites were very well appointed and the pool was great. Marida was a perfect host and very helpful.
