Always when I visit Cosenza, I choose Royal Hotel. There are many things that explain my choice. first of all a very kind and professional staff. The Hotel is very well located next to the beautiful main pedestrian area of Cosenza. The rooms in the hotel are large, well organised, comfortable and quiet. This was more like a home-stay than a typical Booking.com room. The host met me at the station, offered lunch several times, and was generally helpful and friendly; breakfast was excellent, (fresh-squeezed orange juice, home-made marmalade; cheese, ham, bread, pastry....) room wonderful, and the location is perfect: only a short walk both to the historic center and the new town. It is necessarily a bit far from Cosenza Station, but staying near the station would have meant being far from everything else. Also there's a garden filled with jasmine whose perfume fills the entire place.

Very comfortable apartment with everything we needed for self-catering. Spacious, clean, great verandah, and good location. Lots of snacks, water, and breakfast supplies provided. Host very responsive.

The apartment was very clean, comfortable and had everthing you would need. There was a lovely, large terrace to relax on. It was within walking distance to the old town, and lots of shops and restaurants. The host was very responsive and it was easy to get the keys.
