We like the slightly out of town locations as it is quiet and we need secure motorcycle parking. It was quiet and whilst the bikes were off the road, they were not as secure as we would have liked - that said, it was a nice neighbourhood. The room was very clean and we loved the outside toilet/shower - quirky but really functional. No hot water but certainly warm enough. No AC but the fan/s were more than enough for a comfortable night. Mosquitto net over the bed. Good hanging space and shelves. Pool was very very nice. Bungalows are hidden from each other with great landscaping. Breakfast was good. Staff very helpful. Organised a taxi to and from town - ask for Enrique.

The location is great! El convento is a quiet place and very nice to just sip your coffee in the morning before heading out. The staff has been very helpful when I arrived at 9 pm hurt after a descent of a volcano at sunset. Many thanks!

Nicest hosts weve come across, so friendly & helpful. Breakfast included which was eggs fruit toast & coffee. Room was decent sized, glad we had aircon as it was very hot! Good shower although sometimes low water pressure but you just flick a switch by the kitchen. Nice garden area & balcony.

The air conditioned room was necessary in the 30+ temperatures. Other than that, the breakfast was good, gallo pinto - eggs, rice and fruit. And another nice touch was the pool table. As for the staff, they were very polite, chatty and helpful.
