I booked for eleven people; in general, the rooms were very good but with a certain degree of variability, with some being better than the others.
The hotel itself was very nice with a restaurant, private garden and underground private parking (15 euros a day per vehicle).

the hotel is very nicely positioned and has comfortable rooms that are above average, what is very bad is that the level of privacy is at a very low level for such a hotel.

One of the best mattresses I have slept on lately. Also, it's in a great neighborhood—possibly the best we visited in Zagreb. The city center is about 10-15 minutes away by Uber, but very easily reachable. I would definitely stay here again if I ever return to Zagreb and choose not to stay in the city center.

We all felt very safe in Zagreb, everybody was so kind.
We all felt very safe in Zagreb, everybody was so kind. Food was amazing. The trams were great and easy to hop on and off.
We visited the Lotrscak Tower one lunchtime and my god…..would recommend, it was brilliant. The museum of Broken Relationships was so interesting and so much to take away from this.
Our taxi driver back to the airport told us of the difficulties and sadness after the earthquake, the city is rising again and we loved it.

The city center is in good condition.
The city center is in good condition. But, if you decide to go outside of city center borders you will se a lot of garbage everywhere... apparently, as I was informed, it is due to the new mayer's orders on how to dispose trash and, obviously, it is not working... Hopefully they will solve this issue soon. Otherwise, I love Zagreb. I frequently visit Croatia, I always land in Zagreb and would recommend it to anyone looking for a city escape.

Zagreb is a vibrant blend of history, culture, and modernity. Nestled between the southern slopes of the Medvednica mountain and the banks of the Sava River, Zagreb offers a picturesque setting. Its historic Upper Town (Gornji Grad) is characterized by cobblestone streets, medieval architecture, and landmarks such as St. Mark's Church and the Lotrščak Tower. The Lower Town (Donji Grad) contrasts with a more modern atmosphere, featuring elegant 19th-century buildings, lively squares like Ban Jelačić Square, and cultural institutions like the Croatian National Theatre. Zagreb is known for its green spaces, with parks and gardens providing peaceful retreats amidst the urban bustle. The city also boasts a rich cultural scene, with museums, galleries, theaters, and a thriving café culture. Throughout the year, Zagreb hosts various festivals, events, and markets, showcasing its dynamic spirit and welcoming atmosphere.

Initially finding our way to the Dolac market (it was towards the end of the day so fruit and vegetables were cheaper) was via a bus and then a tram (best to travel with local currency in coins as public transport is very cheap), however as we explored the public transport network via the tram route it was a faster way to travel into and out of the city from where we stayed at m-blok. Catching a bus and tram back to the city to hire a car was seamless on our last day. Getting to and from places is very easy once you know where you're going so a car is unnecessary in Zagreb. You can buy bus/tram tickets at Tsik kiosks located close to public transport or on the bus/tram. Note that most coffee cafe's only sell coffee and not food. We enjoyed food from Pekara Dubravica 'home of the finest snacks'. They have a great chicken salad, three different types of burek and more. We ate at II Secondo (reasonable price and big serves), Burger Bar and Burger and Beer Bar Mrav (cheaper eats and big serves).

If you wanna be welcome ,don't come.
If you wanna be welcome ,don't come. I am saying this as a homegrown Zagrebian. I always feel unwelcomed, and I was born here :)
If you're passing through, by all means.
Foreigners generally like Zagreb, but if you're up for a good time, fun, music, company, just don't come. It's not worth the trip and it's not worth your money. Remember this capital is not treating it's own people well.
Go somewhere where the citizens are respected and foreigners are warmly welcome. Y'all have great stayings and safe journeys!

Zagreb is a great city ,transport very good easy to use and every kiosk sells trams tickets 56cents for 30 mins accross town and can be bought in various mins including a day ticket to travel from early morning to till night . there is a city bus that takes you to the airport for 1.12 euros you get a tram walk a few mins and pick up a bus so can be done cheaply, there is an 8 euro bus journey to/from the bus station and then a tram from there to centar and you know you have arrived as its like a big square with shops and resturants around it and on the right a of square the tourist office. A lot of the Churchs/Cathederal and palaces were not open to the public since the earthquake in 2020 still under repair as are a lot of buildings with minor damages. Lots of resturants to eat every where reasonably priced, the best shopping was in the area around the main train station there is an underground shopping mall and lots to choose from down there. .
The hotel was really easy to get to from the airport and we received a warm welcome. All staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and comfortable. We really enjoyed using the pool and spa facilities and staff there were really attentive. We ate dinner at the hotel on our second evening and it was a good set of menus choices with good ambience. Breakfast was excellent and gluten free accommodated very well. This was a great place for us to start our vacation in Croatia and we highly recommend.
It is family hotel, you can really see their genuine care for guests. From helpfull and charming receptionists to hard-working cleaning ladies -spotless mirror and toilet. I have been all over the world and know where to look to check cleanliness ( OCD :) - they passed. Free parking, close to the city center, good public transportation connections, good father's "rakija" and mother's cheese strudel and definately the best -comfortable bed is all you need!
From arrival to checkout all the staff were very helpful, all greeted us with a smile and helped us along with our very small knowledge of the Croatian language.
The rooms were very comfortable, clean and of a good size.
The food and drink were of a good quality.
The location of the Hotel was excellent and had a very grand feeling to it.
A very short walk and you could be in the main square, with all the hustle and bustle of a major City Center.
This is a real boutique hotel in excellent location. The staff is amazing going way more than the extra mile to make you feel like you’re the most important guest. Excellent location about 10 minutes walk from all the actions in Zagreb. Breakfast was amazing with some cook to order choices on top of delicious buffet as well as traditional Croatian desert made by the owner and served hot from the oven
This is not a 5 star facility. It’s a 10!
Beautiful new hotel in a lovely peaceful neighbourhood. Rooms are spacious, modern and clean, the entire hotel looks amazing and it’s tastefully decorated. The best part of our stay was also definitely the staff. They are really kind and breakfast is lovely. There is a sauna but we haven’t used it and they have a terrace at the back with a view of Zagreb. If you want a boutique hotel experience and a peaceful stay, this is it.
The hotel is located extremely close to the bus station and the team which takes you to the city centre. You can reach the bus station in 5 minutes by foot and the team takes you about 10 minutes to the old Town.
Breakfast was basic but sufficient. Staff at the reception was helpful and provided accurate information about how to get to the city center.
Value for money.
Lovely stay. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The staff is excellent and the location is perfect. It is within walking distance of all major attractions. The location of the hotel is about a half hour drive from the airport but a taxi transfer can be arranged by the hotel. They also have a cool roof top and restaurant area.
I really liked the Hotel location, I was surprised by the simplicity to use public transportation to take us to the city center (in a few minutes) and to the shopping malls / sports arenas in the other direction. Room vas very clean and tidy and the breakfast was ok (no luxury but enough of good fresh food)
Great location in the city center, short walking distance to the main square. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The hotel provided us with several choice menus for breakfast, and we could choose whether to have breakfast brought to our room at a specific time, or step out of our rooms for it.
The room was big and clean, and even though we had a pretty basic room we had a sofa, desk and king-sized bed (which was very comfortable). The bathroom was nice. A walking distance from the city center. The hotel’s pool was great - both large and well designed. It even had calming background music :)
Excellent über trendy boutique hotel just off Zagreb central square . Superb luxurious bedroom/bath room with overall standard of accommodation 1st class true 5star luxury . Food in restaurant was superb and service in both restaurant ,bar and reception again all excellent .
Highly recommended .
The staff were really friendly to welcome us into a hotel with fresh facilities. The bed was comfortable and overall the hotel seems clean. Proximity of Slavonska avenija and free parking makes it a no brainer for people with cars. City center is reachable by car or by a nearby stopping tram.
Everything was amazing. The location is perfect, in the quiet residential neighborhood, with cca. 15 mins of walking distance from the city center. There is a wide choice for breakfast, and the hotel restaurant is very good and also available for other meals.
We loved the room: it was clean and tidy, very cosy, pretty furniture...
Breakfast was wonderful and it has a great variety.
The staff were so nice, and all the facilities were excelent.
: ) Best hotel!
easy to access from / to the airport
