Milan is always a surprising city. You can find everything. Elegant shops. Amazing restaurants. Beautiful people. In the city center you can breathe the smell of a european city. It's also a good place where you can invest your money. The real estate market is really good.

Whilst Milan was not as beautiful as Florence or Rome or Venice it has beautiful church interiors! Its Art Galleries are excellent if you are an art enthusiast. Of course for fashion enthusiasts those streets of Montenapoleone and around that vicinity is most exciting. A restaurant we particularly enjoyed was Slow Sud - check it out! Plus Vino e Pasta! But Milan is not the most charming place in Italy that’s for sure!

The city has a lot to see and enjoy.
The city has a lot to see and enjoy. The Museums (Modern Art, Science and Technology and Natural History) are very good. But there was much more to do if there was time. It has an excellent transport network and tickets that work as passes for one day or more. Trains leave from Milan to many parts of Italy on a regular basis. It could be a great base for multiple trips. I just thought that if you don't stay in an apartment and have to eat all your meals outside, it's really expensive. In addition to the fees that are not even specified in the locations, the price-quality ratio is not the best. To eat really well, it's stupidly expensive.

Very nice historical city, quite crowded, though.
Very nice historical city, quite crowded, though. We liked Duomo (online booking recommended), Castello Sforzeco is very nice and beautifully lit at night (we spent almost an hour taking pictures there). Milano Centrale train station is a monumental structure inside.
Negatives. Quite expensive even for Italy. Public transportation system (ATM) is a parody, unreliable in every regard.

A wonderful city, combining remarkable ancient history,...
A wonderful city, combining remarkable ancient history, culture, architecture and modern one, some times quite elitist in modern art, fashion, construction Every one has a different opinion and preferences and favorite places. Mine were and are The Duomo, La Scala, Santa Maria la Gracie, the area of BRERA with the pubs and the ancient appearance and........The San SIRO Stadium!
On my next visit I'll stay for more days, go to the the same places but explore new ones, visit more restaurants, by the way, milan cuisine is noticeable! I can't get hold of it!
The infrastructure is very good in Milan, the transport is perfect organized, but avoid peak hours! The same is for the crowds of tourists
in popular places, so just charge yourself with positive patience and there are funny moments in them.

Lovely city, much more sedate than Rome.
Lovely city, much more sedate than Rome. We walked everywhere we wanted to go. The Duomo and The Last Supper do not disappoint. I recommend booking a tour for the Duomo so you may go to the rooftop and avoid lines. The tours are not pricey. Reservations for The Last Supper are required. Don't forget to walk through the Santa Maria della Gracie. Castello Sforza is huge - set aside at least a couple of hours. We were there for four nights and I am eager to go back.
The hotel was very well connected with the Milano Linate airport and the city centre. It took us only 10 min by bus to get to the bus stop located just a few minutes away from the hotel. Staff members were extremely kind, hospitable and helpful. They welcomed us with a delicious cup of coffee, recommended great restaurants and breakfast places, and lent us an umbrella when it rained outside. They definitely exceeded our expectations! We very much recommend this hotel and we'll probably come back one day when we plan another trip to Milan!
Positives:
Location: Close to Milano Centrale if that's what your looking for. At a walking distance from Milano Centrale -- we walked with some carry-on baggage to/from the train station
Room: Clean and nice decor
Breakfast: Best breakfast in our 10-day trip to Italy (that had us stay in Florence, Siena, Cineue Terre -- Monterosso, Lucca). Only hotel with eggs for breakfast in June (they had both the scrambled and hard-boiled eggs). Also had assorted cut-up fresh fruits. And had the usual stuff -- cakes, crossoints etc. etc..
During my stay in Italy I stayed in several hotels but Matilde Boutique Hotel was a standout for me. Rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated, very clean. The location is perfect just around the corner from the Duomo. Staff members were very attentive and helpful.
Breakfast was excellent, there were always many choices, everything was fresh and tasty. The bonus were the views as I could see Galleria Vittorio Emanuele building while eating my breakfast. Next time I am in Milano I will be staying in this exceptional hotel.
The hotel has a modern feel to it and the room, though on the smaller side, was cozy, very clean and well-equipped. The staff throughout the stay were fantastic - friendly, helpful and professional. The location is decent as the hotel is close to both the city centre and the Garibaldi train station (15min walk to both), but it's not right in the middle of town. The gym area was great. In sum, it's a very good hotel and I'd recommend it to anyone stopping in Milan.
we spent two weeks in Italy in different locations and Hotels, that was the worst by far. I called before we go to ask for a room with a bathtub because my back hurts they said my room has it but it didn’t. the room smelled so bad, after we complained and 2 hrs later they moved up to a different room. it didn’t have hot water and it is winter. it was really bad experience I will never go there again.
the stuff was horrible and not helpful at all.
The property was really nice and cosy with 2 big beds, felt very homely for someone that was born and raised in Italy, the host was very nice and made sure we were alright all the time he also helped when finding places to eat, replied very quickly when we needed him. Before check in we received a video about the property that was very informative and detailed, the place is also located next to a tram so it was easy to get to city centre
Extremely clean and well maintained hotel
Nice and perfect location near the city centre and Milano Linate Airport with excellent public transport.
Amazing staff May God bless! Especially "Nabil" and "Cristian",
Excellent customer service:
Their target is clear...! (customer satisfaction first)...!
They'll do all what they can for your comfort.
Excellent communicaton and Prompt response
Location is amazing.
while sometimes one only needs a place to stay but this hotel is so beautiful. the building is historic. I opened the window and the beautiful church of Santa Maria presso San Satiro was there.
the bathroom was spacious knowing that usually in italy where bathrooms are very small.
24/7 reception and they are very friendly.
I love this place and I would go back.
This hotel is right behind the Milano centrale train station. It is super clean, bright, modern, very nice employees and the breakfast buffet is one of the best in Italy. Wifi and all amenities included. Great place to stay overnight when you are taking the Malpensa express to the airport the next morning! Or you could make it your base for Milano! Excellent value!
Best Apartment I have been to in Italy! Staff are wonderful and willing to help, all the rooms with air conditioning and a lot of space with a kitchen too! Bus stop right next to the apartment building very easy to come and go to the city centre
Thank you guys for making my stay easier and better and hope to stay here again next time in the future! 👍
The Hotel is amazing the location is good specially if you will go around in Italy but you want to stay in milan there is so much restaurants beside the hotel , and its 2 min away from the train station , the staff is the most friendly staff i've ever met they try to make you as comfortable as they can the room size is perfect.
The hotel is close to bus stops, there are lots of bicycle stations and also electric scooters available to reach the city centre. The room was very comfortable and clean. It was very warm in Milan and the air conditioning was a life saver. Breakfast was simply gorgeous. The staff is so helpful and friendly.
Enjoyable stay at the actual Milan city centre. Comfortable rooms , descent breakfast for a 3 star hotel and personalised service with very friendly staff. especially Ivan from reception took the extra step by offering a small bottle of wine when found that we were celebrating birthday!!!!!
This is a lovely hotel. It's clean, comfortable, and very quiet. Our room was perfect, and the bathroom was much bigger than most hotels in Italy. The breakfast had a wide selection of sweet and savory. They even had hard boiled eggs. It's super close to the Milan Central train station.
Nice hotel, well connected to the city centre, however on foot is quite far. Staff were very helpful, lent us a phone charger as ours broke at midnight.... Price quite high for the standard of the hotel, but acceptable compared to other hotels in Milan.
The room was very clean, and the hotel had recently undergone renovation. The staff was incredibly friendly, and we definitely plan to return to this hotel on our next visit. Moreover, the location is highly convenient for traveling around Italy.
the property is really 20 seconds from the Duomo but besides that nothing special actually worst place I stayed in italy and did Rome Florence Bologna and now Milan city is beautiful but this place looked like a war Zone!
the place looks wonderful. nice details, bathroom, nice smell, lovely books and decoration. you really feel in Italy. Very elegant neighbourhood. Good price. Definitely you should stay here when you are in Milan.
stayed in this hotel many years ago. now the rooms are renovated, nice and clean. toilet is spacious comparing to other 3 star hotels in Italy, i liked very much.
