And the scenery is matched by the warmth of the owner-hostess, Fernanda: she made us feel so welcome and looked after, insisting we take sandwiches on the super hike she suggested we take to the next door village, Pitoes de Junias. Dinner was also delicious (especially the homemade cured sausage) and we loved feeling so close to the village, which still seems home to many local people who farm the land.

They go out of their way to chat with you and make you feel completely comfortable during your stay, they will try to fix any issues you encounter so you can have the most pleasant stay. It has great views of the top of Montalegre, while you relax at the pool. There are several rooms that you can choose from.
