One of the best cities in the region, with a range of activities available. Picturesque villages surrounding it, a lot of beautiful beaches, and the highest mountain of the country for hiking lovers. What else could you ask for! Really impressed!

Platamonas is a little seaside town on the west coast of Greece and it is easy to get there by car from Athens as the toll road is in excellent condition. There are many restaurants and bars that one can choose to eat at and the beaches are well organized with umbrellas and sunbeds. One of the main reasons for our visit was that we wanted to climb up Mount Olympus and as Platamonas is only a half hour drive from Litochory (where most of the walks begin) it was the perfect place to visit for a few days.

Excellent for people who would like to enjoy the nightlife of Platamonas. If you are travelling with children or you prefer quiet holidays, you would better be vary careful where your hotel is located as it gets quite noisy in the evenings and until 06/07 AM in the mornig if you are located next to the main sea-side street.

Horrible beach experience, nice food, average pool.
Horrible beach experience, nice food, average pool. Not going 2nd time.
:-( Beach :( there are rules for "not reserving" spots at the beach but NObody pays attention, even the staff. When I complained you can't have a place at 10am because everything is "booked" by towels, rocks, kids toys and whatever you can imagine BUT there are no people! The answer was "what can we do!?!"
The hotel basically abandoned the beach so stupid and arrogant people are doing what ever they want. You pay for a beach and seaside experience BUT you don't have a chance to receive it unless you fight for it or go down to a level of stupidity like the rest. Places are booked with towels at the grass area, even at the pools... Crazy. One of the reasons I will never stay here aver again.
Huge disappointment.
Pool facilities for kids were one of the reasons to book BUT the area is so slippery that almost unusable. We just tried it 2-3 times and left after falling down constantly.
Half of the sprinklers were not working :( this is at the beginning of the season :( water was full of bugs, food stuff from the pool bar.
:-) Staff is friendly, hotel is old, probably from 80ties but maintained good and rooms and bathrooms are OK. Food is great, time slots perfect (lunch till 15:00 and dinner till 22:00). Facilities are OK, you have football, tennis court, indoor pool, fitness and Kids room that is opened up to 22:00. Bars and drinks are OK, ice-cream great.
The hotel îs right on the beach so you wake up with a stunning view every morning. The rooms are big, bed is comfortable and it is clean. The staff comes every day to clean the room.
The breakfast was fantastic every morning and you have lots of options, Lia, besides being a fantastic and helpful host, she is a great cook.
The entire staff is helpful and friendly, the service was always great and their restaurant has wonderful dishes.
All in all, I would definitely come back!
The hotel was very clean and modern, the pool was perfect and the hotel is in a great location, just a few minutes walk from the beach.
The staff were great and the owner was extremely friendly he really made the effort to ensure everyone was happy and comfortable which made us feel very welcome.
The breakfast was also excellent.
Great place we’ll definitely be back :)
What to say. Everything was wonderful. The communication with mr. Nestor, the conditions in the house, the view, which was amazing and yes, even though the house is on a hill, the walk from the center of Platamonas to the house is very pleasant and does not take more than 15 minutes. Still, you need some exercise too, don't you!
Excellent idea with dinner at the location for only 10 euros per day per person. An extra appreciation for the owner of the hotel who, on one of the days when we wanted to go by taxi, given the fact that we could not find taxis available, offered to drive us where we needed. Thanks once again and this way!
The owners were just fantastic, very professional and very friendly. The restaurant is with exceptional view, the food-just brilliant! It has a private parking which is good. It has a private beach with 15-20 umbrella sets, which is nice and quiet. The location is 15" walk from Platamona where is busier.
Amazing chance to feel off-season vibe in the calm small town next to the beach. Rather close to the mountains, to the visantian castle Platamonas and other sightseens.
The stuff was extremely friendly and nice. We also had a great fresh breakfast.
The bed was really comfy. And room was warm.
The hotel is clean and staffs are super friendly and helping. Location is very convenient, several tasty restaurants next door and 5 mins walking to the beach. Pool from the hotel is also nice and clean. Special thanks to Stella, she was so kind and even shared us a ride to Litochoro.
Superb stay in a very nice hotel. Spacious and clean room, super view of the port and the sea. Water, coffee, large balcony, even blankets for the seats, everything very well thought off, just for making you feel good.
Very friendly and supporting staff, good breakfast.
Nice location at the Platamonas beach and not far from the highway. The rooms are very clean and staff are welcoming and helpful. All the amenities are available and the town of Platamonas with a wide choice of restaurants, cafes and bars is within walking distance.
One of the best hotels we've ever been!Modern and spacious rooms!Super clean!Large and comfortable beds!Nice bathroom and beautiful huge balcony with seaview!Atina-the front desk girl is extremely nice and helpful! Thank you very much!We had wonderful stay!
It was very clean, family friendly, we had a great view, it is actually the best thing you can find in Platamonas. Breakfast was very good. We visited the hotel off season but we enjoyed it so much! I can only imagine how good this place is in the summer!
the view of our room- a giant maple tree and the sea
the quiet private balcony with a wonderful view
the elevator -- so a nice surprise!
