Everywhere, the villas, the pool area and the whole site was spotlessly clean. The host was helpful without being overbearing. It was only a short walk to the bakery, a little supermarket and a good choice of bars and restaurants. The Troulos beach is nice, with a few restaurants but we also liked Maratha beach which was a bit quieter.

Trolous is a very nice village on Skiathos Island. It has everything you need for a family vacation, from shops to taverns. The beach is absolutely perfect for children. You can rent sunbeds or stay on a towel. You can also have a little bit of snorkeling in the water (there are some interesting fish in there). I have stayed in Skiathos for two weeks and for a family(including small children) point of view, Trolous beach was second best on the island after Koukounaries beach.IonutRomania - 10Scored 10

It is a beautiful resort although it didn't feel like a resort it was more like lovely authentic Greek haven. The local bus is brilliant it runs from one end of the island to the other, troulos was bus stop 20, it came every 15mins and only cost us €2 each to go into skiathos town which took about 20/25 mins on a clean air conditioned bus. We spent a lot of tine at Troulos Taverna on the beach front, Costa, Nikos and all of the staff were always welcoming, the food at anytime of day amazing, there ate so many places to eat in the area you would never run out of choice.

Our room was perfect, comfortable, airy, spacious and with that breezy Mediterranean feel that travellers seek when coming to Greece. Oh, and of course their breakfast was amazing...the Greek yogurt with honey and fruit is a must. The proprietors, George and Ana, are incredibly gracious, welcoming, accommodating and downright genuine, friendly people. I highly recommend this establishment if you find yourself on Skiathos.

La Luna is beautiful hotel with pool, sunbeds and bar with very nice kitchen. Breakfast was rich and very good. The hotel is in walking distance of beautiful beaches (Troulos beach, Katarina beach, Maratha beach, a little bit longer walk is to Koukounaries beach). There is a bus stop close by (very good public transport) and supermarket. You can go to various restaurants, but the city is very calm. Breakfast was not fabulously healthy, but it gave us enough energy for the entire morning. In our room, we liked that there were enough electrical sockets, enough for all devices. The fridge was inside a cabinet, which reduced fridge noise. We also enjoyed the cleanliness and the terrace(balcony) and the variety of furniture. One day we lost our key to the electricity panel and staff was very kind about it and gave us another one.

The place is quiet, clean, it has parking, the room is big with TV, fridge and mini kitchen. You are super close to Troulos beach where there are several restaurants and a supermarket. Also, the accommodation is near the bus station and this makes a good connection if you want to go all over the island. The owners are very nice and we really felt like home. The rooms are lovely, spacious, clean and comfy - you're over looking greenery and you're so close to the beach and restaurants. There's a bar at the front of the hotel, selling coffees biscuits pastries and beers and other drinks. There's a playground for children and a ping pong table. Its a lovely place for anyone.
