We visited Jacksonville University. It was a very lovely campus. Definitely a school I would want to attend or want my child to attend. We visited Neptune Beach during our stay. Parking can be tricky but when you find your spot the walk down to the beach wasn't bad at all. We got some wonderful photos and enjoyed a nice walk. The area we were in wasn't as cramped and crowded as we thought it would be. We would definitely go back. We are at Ruby Tuesdays next to the hotel. The waiter was a cut up. Lol. We often visit Jacksonville for shows, concerts or football games. We usually stay up near the airport where there are many hotels and it's a short 15 min drive to downtown. The Landings area has dropped many of its restaurants and is not the vibrant center that it once was. Airport area has a huge shopping/dining center (River City Marketplace) with something for everyone. Access to the stadium/Daily's Place, arena and Center for the Performing Arts downtown is easy with plenty of parking.George
