We loved the overall chill atmosphere/attitude. We stayed longer than originally planned and got a bigger room later on. The apt we got was simply awesome with an amazing view of the sea. The location is great too, especially if you have a car. The best place we stayed in in all of Corfu.
The classical style of this hotel will take you back to historical Greece of the 19th century, coupled with the latest and most up-to-date comforts of the 21st century

Such a hidden gem! The view is spectacular, the staff are really accomodating and friendly, we had an issue with our car rental with another company and the hotel quickly saved the day and organised a rental through them for immediate pick up! The location is brilliant and I could not recommend this hotel more! It’s beautiful, such good value for money!
Very picturesque and wonderful place. The staff attention to details was exceptional and the hospitality on another level.
Greatly enjoyed the stay and the lovely views but the staff will always have a lasting impression on me.

Kalami is ideal if you want a quiet relaxed holiday.
Kalami is ideal if you want a quiet relaxed holiday. Only 4 restaurants to choose from. The White House has got expensive & the bar near the beach that belongs to the hotel. Enjoyed eating out at Kalami Beach Bar brilliant Greek night there. Also Thomas’s is good. More advertising is needed for boat trips, someone is missing a trick not thinking about offering safari trips around Corfu from Kalami. Miss Cocktail’s & Dreams that used to be at the Hotel & missed the entertainment.

Kalami is a quiet village set in a picturesque bay.
Kalami is a quiet village set in a picturesque bay. It has a number of good Tavernas and bars - our favourite was Thomas’ Place. The village has two well stocked supermarkets. The neighbouring bays of Agni and Kouloura are easily walkable but there is also a water taxi service available from the jetty in the bay. There is also a bit of literary history in the village as you can eat (as long as you like fish) in the White House a former home of writer Laurence Durrell.

The villa, Dimitri's Luxury Cottage IS NOT IN KALAMI - it is in VINGLA, which is up high in the hills behind Kalami - via difficult switchback roads.
Kalami itself is lovely and is the nearest beach to the cottage. Not too touristy with just a few small taverna's and sunbeds. Good local supermarket and fish shop. Local people helpful and friendly.

Kalami - if you like tavernas and seats on the beach with parasols there are plenty. The tavernas are nice and good ambience. There are quieter coves along the coast and wildlife on the walks was really interesting. Its got a gentle hubbub vibe, and people come back time and again. Everyone seemed to migrate to Thomas' Place to eat, and that was good but you have to be more organised than we are and book! Agni is a short walk along the coast and there are more tavernas there too if you want a change of view. Lovely place really. the boats are a bit hit and miss, but part of the fun, and I would hire a boat another time which looked good to do. There are a LOT of boats!

Beach, beach activities and restaurants and super markets...
Beach, beach activities and restaurants and super markets are very good, the village itself looks a bit run down, most probably because after the pandemic there wasn’t any money left to invest in renovating old houses.
The villa is on a hillside overlooking the waters between Corfu and Albania. The views are stunning. The external areas of the villa are extensive, the pool is large and there are lots of different areas to sit and eat, have a BBQ or just sunbath and enjoy the peace and the views. Approx 5 min walk down one side of the hill leads to a quiet, pretty beach and Kouloura Taverna, a 10 min walk down the other side leads to Kalami and it's Tavernas, supermarkets and a busier beach with watersports. The location would be hard to beat.
.
The property was very clean on arrival which was very late at night. Milk in the fridge, coffee and sugar and a bottle of wine were all provided. Barbara the host was amazing, always available should any problems arise. She wouldn't even let us clean the property on our departure day. Great outdoor space with tables and chairs and sun loungers.
Situated in the middle of Kalami, its right opposite Super Mario's shop which provides anything you need. 1 minutes walk to the beach.
We will definitely be returning to Villa Matella 😀
Once you enter the studio and you pull the curtain, you’re going to need to sit down for a bit because the view is possibly the best I’ve ever had in my whole life. the wonderful Kalami bay is literally 5 minutes walk away and the studio has everything you need.
But the most enjoyable thing of my stay was Kosta’s customer service, which was completely out of this world! he made sure we had every single thing to make our stay memorable. and all of this at a more than reasonable price.
The balcony has a superb view over the sea and Kalami Beach. The apartment is spacious with great history of Gerald Durrell. The pool is a short walk of 2 mins that also has tremendous views. There are good restaurants nearby, Thomas's Place was a particular favourite. The White House restaurant was absolutely superb in all aspects but you do pay for it. A great family apartment in a superb setting all overseen by Joy who was a charming and helpful host.
Villa was beautiful and in a lovely location. Alexandros was very helpful. Cleaner attended regularly.
We enjoyed evening bbqs next to the pool and on the sun terrace. Amazing views!
Local taverna nearby (Dimitri's) was excellent.
Bedrooms are exceptionally comfortable.
The steep walk into Kalami was fine and great to be located near to the amenities in Kalami.
The local supermarket was great and drove us up the hill with large orders!
Our apartment was furnished and decorated very tastefully and has everything you need.
Everything is nicely maintained.
The pool (and balcony) had great views and was refreshing.
The apartments are nice and quiet and relaxing on a quiet road.
Down the hill to agni beach there are 3 tavernas and a snack/drinks bar.
It is possible to walk to kalami beach along the coast path.
Short drive to other beaches/areas and to supermarkets.
Beautiful clean and friendly hotel, excellent pools and facilities. We were evacuated during the recent wildfire and the staff were exceptional in ensuring everyone was kept updated and had plans in place to move everyone safely overnight. Even rang us the next morning to make sure we made it back safe and offer extended breakfast. We felt very well looked after and would definitely return!
Very nice villa in perfect location for beach and facilities. Beds were the most comfortable we've ever had in Greece in 40 years! Fan and gnat screen worked well so no need for air con during our stay. Good views from balcony and very clean and tidy throughout.
Very nice villa.
5th trip to Kalami and as always a perfect location for a quiet , sunny break.
Great location. Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Welcome pack of bread, cheese, ham, Jam, beer and water which was so nice to have. Kitchen has all you need. Beds comfortable. Towels supplied. Shower room was great and hot water when we showered. I have been coming to Kalami for many years and We will stay here again definitely.
Lovely Greece, wonderful Corfu, divine Kalami! Thank the Villa Natali team for our comfortable stay there! Special gratitude to Costas for his helpfulness and attentiveness! Our sincere recommendations of Villa Natali if you would like to spend time in a quiet place with the stunning view on the sea!
Location, location, location! Steps to our private dock and the warm Mediterranean sea. 15-minute swim to Kalami beach and a 5-minute walk to the village. Lovely Kalami bay views. AC worked well. Niko the caretaker and his wife kept the place spotless and were very attentive to our needs.
The property is in the most wonderful location. Clean, comfortable beds, lovely Mary and her cleaner team. Laundry change every 4 days great. Good shower, hot water and cool bedrooms. Kalami is beautiful! If you want cheerful, happy, simple place to stay - this is perfect!
Superb location in Kalami and the hosts were very welcoming. Vassia was keen to share her excellent knowledge of the area and her recommendations were perfect, from eating out ideas to local walks.
All in all a wonderful week…and we shall be returning!
The location of the villa was lovely. It had fabulous views of the bay at Kalami. Only a 5 minute walk down a steep path (10 minutes coming back up!) to the beach, with all its super restaurants and shops.
An amazing view, lovely modern clean studio. A stroll into Kalami village with excellent restaurants and supermarkets and amazing hosts Vassia, Dimitri and family. Hope to be back soon!! 😀
The room was big and had a good view on Kalami Bay! We enjoyed the bellavista pool in the afternoon: there’s plenty of sunbeds and a pleasant light wind to bear the hot sun
Loved the location in pretty Kalami, a minute from the sea, tavernas and 2 mini markets. Spacious, homely, clean and well equipped. Owners were lovely.
