Boasting a terrace, Art Hotel Tartini is set in the heart of Piran. The hotel was completely renovated in 2018 with finishing touches provided by one of the most famous Slovenian artists.

We had an excellent five-day stay at PachaMama in Piran. Perfectly located almost at the main square, it was close to everything yet quiet enough for peaceful nights. There’s plenty to do nearby, and the area is great for leisurely walks. The staff was notably super friendly and helpful, assisting us with parking outside the city. What really impressed us were the sustainable features of the hotel. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Piran!

Place was lovely. Chose it mainly for the parking and location but was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Amazing roof terrace space.

Loved Piran great seaside destination with great seafood and hikes and bicycle trails that will keep you interested for days. You can then relax with a drink in hand right by the sea.
Stay in old town if steps are a problem for you or on the hill to take advantage of the views if you can handle the steps and the hill back up.
Good local bus connections if you want to explore that way.

Small but very beautiful town. Getting around is quite easy. Love the small boutiques. We still missing some places because of the rain and we did not plan our itinerary well. Hope to come back someday.

Wonderful small town on the sea coast, with great restaurants, beautiful views, nice shops, lots of history. I ate along the sea walk several times, got a local private tour, took a bus to the nearest town Portoroz. Would highly recommend seeing Piran!

Right up there with the Amalfi Coast and Cinque Terra in the gorgeous seaside village sweepstakes. Breathtaking views everywhere you look. Pretty main square with beautiful 18th and 19th century architecture. Crystal clear water for swimming, although there are no sand beaches, but piers and jetties. Lots of nice restaurants with sea / sunset views

Piran is a very compact town so it is easy to walk but take care with the uneven cobblestones. There is a wide range of eating places. The cement area in front of the sea was a surprise: there is no sand. The free shuttle was handy for getting luggage from the very expensive parking garage (the only option for visitors). Our hostess, Bruna, was a memorable part of the visit.
Where should I even start? Modern, super nice apartment in the Harbor area of Piran. Everything is in walking distance. Parking is also not far away. The apartment is equipped with everything you might need and the best is Karmen- the host, which is the most friendly person you can imagine. She was so friendly and helpful, gave us Easter presents at the beginning and let us stay longer, to enjoy the most of the day.
We can just say that Slovenian people are so welcoming and nice….and Karmen is the perfect example. Thank you!!
The location was great. Close to the free shuttle, walking distance to cafes, restaurants and a nice view of the town. The place was very clean, nice layout had a great balcony. The kitchen was a nice size and was fully stocked with cookery. A nice place to stay for a week or more. Fredi was great in getting back with us when we informed him about having to pay for parking when we entered town to unload our baggage. Instructions on how to access the apartment and where to park the car after unloading were good.
Very nice appartment with a big terrace (shared) on the cliffs over Piran. The appartment was very well equipped. Very tastefully decorated. Free parking. Everything within walking distance, so we did not touch the car during our stay. Calm residental aerea. The hosts were nice and took their time to give us reccomandations and information, even though we arrived at an akward moment. A lot of possibilities for walking/bikecycling. We would stay there again if we were to go back to Piran.
Well-equipped rooms in a wonderful location, right in the center of Piran. The room was small, but nicely decorated and had everything you needed for a short stay (toiletries, AC, towels, etc). Staff was very friendly and professional. We arrived somewhat earlier and we appreciated the fact that we were able to check-in right away. The instructions about parking and getting into the city werw straightforward. Would stay again!
Studio Carmen is in a good location and was clean and well equipped. Marco was there on time and gave us some recommendations about where to eat. Parking in Piran is difficult, but Parking Arze is the cheapest at 15 euros for 24 hours, not the one recommended by the Studio Carmen team. The apartment is well situated in a quiet street near a Mercator which was very handy and the 80s Cafe Bar with excellent breakfast coffee.
It's in the old town of Piran, just a few minutes' walk to every sight, with wonderful view to the port. The apartment was clean, the kitchen is well equipped, the beds were comfortable. Portoroz central beach is about a nice and easy 40 mins walk, with a lane along the seaside. Parking is about 10 mins walk, 29 EUR/day, but you can drive in the old town free of charge for 15 mins for the luggage.
- the room was very clean and pleasant
- good room amenities- real coffee machine was a great addition!
- the host was nice and welcomed us with mineral water and cookies
- location is perfect, 1 min from the main square and the shuttle to the parking garage
- the host let us leave our baggage until noon while we traveled in the city
- we loved beautiful Piran!!
Amazing and completely renewed luxury apartment with jacuzzi and kitchen in the centre of Piran close to the Tartini Square.
Warm welcome by the owner, who lended us his parking car and so avoiding us to pay two expensive days and the parking outside of Piran. Very appreciated as well the welcome Prosecco, water and fruits on the table.
The appartement is exploited by a lovely family. They make you feel like home and help out wherever they can. Exemplary was the parking arrangement they could make which is very difficult in Piran. They also helped out with carrying the luggage and offerted us a drink on their terras at the arrival.
We stayed in a beach house and accomodation was superb! Better than we expected. We stayed "directly" at the sea and could enjoy all hotel services. The place was peaceful and close to Piran and Portoroz.
The staff in beach bar was friendly and fast, the food was delicious and not expensive.
Excellent apartment at the top of the hills with superb view over the bay and old town of Piran. Ask for the second floor when renting, view is better there. Number of parking spots available, some manoeuvring skills necessary. Everything was clean and we had a good communication with host.
The location of the apartment is absolutely in the city center. Parking is organized in a parking lot which is outside the town. There is a free shuttle bus running between the parking lot and the city center.
Everything in the apartment was clean and well organized.
The location and interior of the property are wonderful. We stayed at the Art Hotel Tartini near the Christmas holiday, to celebrate our engagement, and enjoyed the quiet of Piran in the winter. It’s proximity to restaurants, the water, and the plaza is phenomenal.
Parking offsite can be annoying. However, the shuttle made it very convenient. Being able to store luggage and sit for a bit after checkout was also very good. The breakfast was outstanding. The setting, of course, is perfect.
All of the reviews talk about the breakfast. It is truly exceptional… the hotel and the staff are really great, and the location could not have been better. Our room overlooked a side alley, and it was extremely quiet.
Owner was super-friendly and very proffessional (service minded).
Parking!!! Guest to keep in mind that only very few properties offer parking as well at Piran.... At Opara you get parking as well
Great little apartment. Very comfy bed. Had everything we needed and parking was brilliant. Super friendly host.
Main part of Piran was a lovely 10-15 min walk (uphill on the way back).
In Piran, you park your car outside the town. The Staff went out of their way to facilitate the parking and shuttling at any hour of the day.
Location of the hotel is perfect.
with a nice view over Piran. beautiful breakfast terrace. just a few minutes walk to the old town. best location for car arrival. parking space at the accommodation.
