We loved the place - the views over the mountain and the authentic vibe. The host was very kind to us and made us great “mekitzi” with home made jams for breakfast. He told us lots about the history and life in the village. We also visited the museum in the old school, which was set up with care and appreciation for the history of the area, so also highly recommended to see.

This is a nice, warm, comfortable room. No luxuries, but everything was new. The owners are nice people and they'll make your stay comfortable, though they probably speak only bulgarian. The village is beautiful, but rather empty at this time of the year. Easy parking.

One of the best places we have ever stayed! The house is a charming time capsule from the 19th century, emanating a rustic spirit that transports you back in those times. The views are absolutely picturesque, with rooms overlooking the vast Rodopi Mountain and the stunning Kanina River gorge, making you feel the timelessness of this place. Alongside the vintage charm, the accommodation provides all the amenities necessary for a comfortable stay. The rooms are impeccably clean, cozy, and decorated with fresh forest flowers, bringing a peaceful and enjoyable atmosphere. The garden was appealingly maintained, reflecting an open mind and individual creativity. The highlight of our stay was the host, Savina. She was the most delicate and amiable companion, always ready to help the guests feel cared for. Every morning she prepared a delicious breakfast, beautifully decorated with great attention to details and a personal touch tailored to each guest’s taste. We also decided to have a dinner at Kalinia Guesthouse. Savina served us a full-course meal, spiced with love, diligence and pleasant conversations. This left us with no choice but to dine there again the next day.

The room was really big and comfortable. The place was clean , the beds were comfortable, the bathroom was also big and clean. There is a big terrace with mountain view which was beautiful. Everything inside was new and modern.

I liked the location, the hotel, nature around it, it's yard. Also our room was excellent, spacious and clean, staff was very polite and friendly, breakfast was nice. Mineral water was amazing, with a discrete smell of Sulphur. We spent 6 nice days there and were sad that it didn't last longer. Unfortunately weather was bad most of the time during our stay, otherwise our stay would be even better. But it was very pleasant and relaxing for us, even with such weather
