This is a magical and beautiful city.
This is a magical and beautiful city. There is plenty to see and do, the food is great, and the people are incredible. I highly recommend staying in Old Town (Praha/Prague 1) as everything is walkable from this part of town. If you stay outside of Old Town, like New Town, for example, you may save, but you will spend more on transport and time trying to find your way around. I HIGHLY recommend staying away from Airbnb's. Stay in hotels because there is always someone there who actually wants to help. With AirBnB, the customer service has constantly left me high strung and helpless. Spend the extra money to be safe and happy, and sleep in a comfortable bed.

Prague was beautiful, clean and so interesting. On and off bus was terrific. Shops were lovely with fantastic window displays. Booked tour had one hitch they picked you up at your hotel but left you to get back yourself At 78 and on my own that day this was not appreciated. Prague offers on the one hand an old, rich and traditional and spectacular urban landscape, on the other hand, also modern construction and on the third hand, full of green parks. Near the exit from Prague 6 to the airport there is the Dibuka Sharka nature reserve. There is a tram stop in front of the building. The apartment locates in a renovated building nearby Mosaic House Hotel, where the reception is available. All the amenities are available in the apartment: washing machine, dishwasher, kitchen. There is a common dryer on each floor. The housekeepers are very nice and keep clean the room everyday. If you like, the hotel also provides bicycle for free.

The hotel arranged for a car to pick us up on arrival which was a nice change of pace after taking trains all over Germany. It was only 390 CZK so not super expensive. The room was large and clean, breakfast was wonderful. We arrived to a welcome note and chocolates. If I visit Prague in the future this will be where I stay again.

However the best thing about this hotel is the Reception staff - they were super friendly and helpful whenever I had any questions.
