This is a wonderful hotel located in the main square, the jotel is a listed building but it's interior was very tastefully modernised without effecting the character of the hotel, our room was excellent, it faced out onto the square and was really spacious, the breakfast was fantastic with great choices for a couple of days, even though the presentation area is small, the food keeps coming, the staff are all attentive and excellent at their jobs from reception to housekeeping and especially the waiters, one in particular was a fabulous guy who went above and beyond, his name was Prokop,he should teach other people in this line of work how customer relations is done, we cannot speak highly enough of this hotel and staff which made it a wonderful stay for us in Cesky Krumlov

The location is great, it is very easy to get around, and it's close to both the historic center as well as to the bus station. The breakfast was very tasty, and the receptionist provided us with great tips when we asked for restaurant recommendations.

The charm of this enchanting fairy tale city in the Czech Republic is best experienced during winter when snow covers magical Český Krumlov Castle. Lying along the banks of the Vltava River, the historic old town comes alive during summer when cafes and restaurants overflow with the influx of tourists.
The castle makes an imposing backdrop against narrow cobblestone streets and a mixture of Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque architecture in its old buildings. Choose an art gallery, museum or theatre like the 17th-century
Castle Baroque Theatre, located inside the castle’s beautiful gardens.
Walking around Český Krumlov’s historic streets is a journey back in time, and the best way to soak up its Bohemian atmosphere. Your walk can be easily interrupted at one of the many cafés, restaurants and bars serving local dishes and drinks.

The town is like a fairy tale, with a beautifully preserved old town and beautiful buildings from the Middle Ages. It is not big, so it can be visited in 2 days, but it is certainly a unique experience, observing the panorama of the city or wandering through the narrow streets. Vltava gives the whole impression an additional charm.

The town is beautiful and the castle very impressive.
The town is beautiful and the castle very impressive. It felt a bit like Disneyland, though, with the hordes of tourists everywhere. We were surprised when we walked back into town in the evening for dinner and found the streets empty! All the day-trippers had left. We enjoyed the castle tours; I was a tad disappointed to not see any tours for the theater online in English the day we were there, and then to discover that there was one just after the tour we went on (in German)! It didn't look full, either. We spent two nights / 1.5 days there, and that was plenty.

Picturesque place,.it is a.must to.visit it, it is maybe my fifth time I come as it is a unique.place.
There are many places.to.go.for a walk, you only need to.go.and discover them!
There is an area with supermarkets out of.town but yoi.can go there on foot. However, If you don't have time for that walk, you will find some potraviny shops in town which are open till.late.
It is better to.go.in.summer because everytjing is open all day and you can explore.the place.in the day light.
You will feel you are in a fairy tale

I hope I never have to see Český Krumlov again.
I hope I never have to see Český Krumlov again. If so, I'll stay in a campsite (though the penzion wasn't the problem); much better to visit on a canoe trip. Hideously high prices and and as few locals as in Venice. Gigabites of fake Instagram grins and very little of real interest. The Art Centre was a disappointment with few originals from Egon Schiele but the food: I have never seen so much profiteering with so little by way of quality or service culture. The travel hostel was the exception, though I hesitate to write this down unless it sees fit to gouge prices.
I liked the river and some of the walks. And it irritated me less on a Wednesday when many tourists had left.

In this period of the year the little town is very calmy and silent. Only bad experience that most of the sights and the museum were closed at this time. There not so much to do, I found it very bad from tourist side. Xmas decorations are only now to come, however in the neighborhood in Budovice the main square was full with decoration and Xmas fair. Lot of bars was closed, there was not so much to do there at this time. Thus this the city is wonderful, the castle area geourgeos, but we loved to check the old theatre or the tower.
The impeccable service and perfect location! They will help and accommodate you in any way and answer your questions. Prompt messaging if you need something. A mix of very old building and modern roomy bathroom. If we
go back to Cesky Krumlov we would definitely stay here. This was the best service in all of our stays and we have been traveling for 2 weeks now. Marina treats you like family. I recommend 2 nights as this is a nice area to relax. Food is great. We recommend Mastal, it’s on the square.
Amazing nice hosts that made my 2 nights stay unforgettable!Excellent breakfast in the room including espresso coffee-there is no better way to start your day!The location is a refurbished historical house but with all the comfort you need (that happens to be one of the most narrowest houses in Czech Republic),The room was very quiet and the house is within walking distance to all the attractions in Cesky Krumlov,an old town that you should not miss! The parking is only 50 meters away.
Absolutely exceptional property. Surely there can't be a better place to stay in Cesky Krumlov?! It's right in the centre of town in a classic old building. Everything is an easy walk. The apartment is very charming and everything is newly refurbished and comfortable. Even though you're in the centre of town it feels very quiet as you're high enough above the chaos of the streets. There is a lovely view of the castle bridge out the window. We loved everything about this stay.
First of all, it's my second time I'm staying in this hotel. Moreover, both times I've stayed in Cesky Krumlov - both time I've stayed in this hotel. Location - well, you CAN'T find a better location - it's the best. Stuff - super helpful and amazing. Rooms - perfect. I've stayed in the 3rd floor and under the roof - both locations have it's own charm. Valet parking - super helpful, considering location of this hotel. Breakfast - great! Anyway, top-notch!
The accommodation was just right for our needs - a place to stay for the night while exploring Cesky Krumlov. The room was nice and spacious, overlooking the castle walls and park. The bed was comfy, the kitchenette was tiny but fully equipped (fridge, stove, kettle), breakfast was waiting for us in the fridge. The bathroom was spacious and clean.
There is no reception and access to the rooms is via a code shared prior to arrival.
Thank you so much Klara and the team from Penzion for providing us with not only a clean facility but also a warm hospitality. The Hotel is only 8 mins walk from the central bus station and 5 mins walk to the market square. The dining area which was opened 24/7 provided us with not only hot tea but delicious Christmas cookies. I will recommend this hotel for those who plan to visit Cesky Krumlov.
This lovely hotel was literally a 5-minute walk to the historic center. Parking at the villa is complimentary for guests. Breakfast was outstanding. A menu is provided with about a dozen gourmet options - delicious! We were on the top floor in a deluxe room with castle view. Highly recommended! The owners take a special interest in giving their guests a wonderful experience.
The village of Cesky Krumlov is small, Pension Zamecka Apartments are situated perfectly to all activities. The staff was friendly, spoke English and helpful. The only small complaint in Czeck Republic is constantly converting the Czech currency (CZK) it was a pain. Most shops and restaurants accept the Euro but it is about 1€:22CZK
The location is either up or down a quaint staircase street from the castle to town. The hotel has a communal microwave, cups, hot pot, and extra blankets in kitchenette on each floor. Rooms are tiny but cute and have everything you need. The windows open to flower boxes and views of the castle tower.
beautiful place on the river, close enough to walk into to heart of Cesky Krumlov but in a quieter neighborhood away from tourist crowds. Tastefully decorated with cute details and kind host.
Delicious macaroons from the host :) The host was easily reachable and responds quickly.
Immaculate, stately, luxurious and very comfortable accommodation! However what impressed me most was the efficient and professional yet relaxed and kind staff on reception. It is rare and wonderful when staff are genuinely friendly, welcoming and relaxed in such luxury hotels.
This hotel is located right in the middle of the old medieval part of town. It was a really great stay. close to great restaurants, stores, bars, a castle and the river. The room was up some stairs but was very nice! We would highly recommend this hotel and area!
My stay in Hostel Merlin was perfectly fine and comfortable.
1. Good location, right next to the historical town centre of Český Krumlov
2. Very clean, quiet and safe
3. Staff (Alex) was really helpful, responsive and friendly! Thanks Alex!
Kristian and Eva are super friendly and helpful. They cooked us breakfast, called taxis, and did everything they could to make us feel welcome. This is a nice little hotel in a great location in the heart of beautiful Cesky Krumlov.
Everything
The host , Maria, is a super host . She is very helpful and always smiles
The room is more than perfect with beautiful
view of castle from terrace.
I will definitely stay here again if I visit Cesky Krumlov next time.
Everything! Right in the centre of Cesky Krumlov and easy to find our way around. Room was lovely with view of the castle. Hosts went out of their way to make us comfortable. Would definitely recommend.
