We stayed in this hotel for the first night of our trip, and liked it so much that we also chose it for the end. The rooftop pool is amazing to relax before/after a flight, the gym is extremely well equipped, and the breakfast buffet is really vast and high quality - one of the best I've seen across a large set of work trips & vacations.
All staff has been incredibly kind & helpful too. Wish we could stay longer, and will definitely be back!

A stunning property with exceptionally warm and helpful staff. Nancy on front desk greeted us with the warmest smile and was beyond helpful, we couldn't' thank her enough for her recommendations. Room was clean and comfortable. Dining area was visually spectacular but quite warm at times. I will be back for sure.

Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was comfortable. We slept with a construction work outside that went on until past 12am which was unusual for us. Our TV worked but froze all the time. I could see that this is due to poor internet connection. Air-con was not very powerful but enough to get by. Receptionist was helpful and accommodating.
Overall, it was nice for a short stay.

Its rich culture includes beautiful French colonial palaces mixed with modern skyscrapers that show the power of Vietnam’s economic capital.
Whether you decide to visit the Notre-Dame Cathedral, the City Hall, or the Municipal Theatre, you’ll see the care shown by Saigonese people in preserving their historic legacy. On the other hand, the Haussmann-style boulevards are typically packed with small motorcycles that make every street crossing a whole new experience.

We travelled from the north (Hanoi) and finished our trip in Ho Chi Minh. It was the most western of the cities we visited. We only had 2 days there, which was not enough. I would've liked at least another day to feel I could see eveything. You could comfortably spend 4-5 days here and take your time to see the sights.

A great city to walk around. Lots to see and do.
A great city to walk around. Lots to see and do. Great places to eat, lots of food options. I recommend doing a walking tour to get a feel for the city. I found the War Remnants Museum and Independence Palace really interesting. The Saigon Skydeck offered an interesting perspective but was a bit pricy. Loved all the cafes in Building 42.

Unique atmosphere, tasty coffee variety, good for shopping (especially in Saigon market). Careful a bit first time while you cross roads cause the great number of motorbikes there form a ''river flow'' along the road.

We went from the madness (but excitement!)
We went from the madness (but excitement!) of District 1 for our first 4-day foray in HCM / Vietnam to the peace & tranquillity of Mia Saigon in District 2 for our last 4 days in Vietnam (it was like being in a completely different city) after travelling to / through Da Nang/ Hanoi, etc.
Overall, the experience was all that we'd hoped for & more! The people really do make the difference!

This was just a short stay in Ho Chi Minh City before heading to Phu Quoc. A great city for a city break with plenty to see and fantastic food and nightlife. Thai Binh market and the war museum are must see's as is just following your nose and seeing where you end up. Use Grab to and from the airport to avoid the taxi mafia.

The family which is running the hotel is friendly and helpful.
The room was fairly clean, the bathroom and bed were nice.
There is an elevator.
It's basically in between the airport and district 1 so if you're flying out, it's very convenient that the airport is a 5-10 min drive away.
If you have a short amount of time and you mostly want to see the important sights of and nearby the city, it's a good chance to experience a very local neighborhood of Saigon just by taking a short walk around the hotel.
Gia Huy is a no-frills hotel that is value for money and in a strategic location for those who are looking to stay in District 1 and be near Ben Thanh Market. It is definitely a plus point for Muslim travellers who are looking for the convenience of halal food as the hotel is located in Malaysia Street. It's comfortable enough for a short stay as it is pretty clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful, which was a plus point. We had an issue with wifi in one of our rooms and it was dealt with quickly.
Central location in district 1, close to many restaurants.
Walking distance to the main attractions of Ho Chi Minh City.
The room was clean, comfortable and spacious, with a nice bathroom with bath.
I loved the restaurant at the top floor, where every morning a rich buffet breakfast is provided. Several options, from local to American food, and lot of fresh fruits.
Professional staff, available to provide information about the services provided by the hotel, but also cheaper alternatives around it.
The hotel is just opposite of Saigon tower and very close to the walking street and Saigon river in District 1. It is decorated with an antique theme, I really liked the wooden furniture, I booked this hotel because of the antique theme it is decorated with. The reception area is awesome, aesthetically decorated. The room was very big on the sixth floor. The breakfast was awesome, the staff were very polite and respectful. I will definitely come back when I will be in Ho Chi Minh City.
What impressed me the most about this hotel was its value for money. For such a great location and high standard of service, the price was very reasonable.
In summary, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City. The friendly staff, excellent facilities, and unbeatable location make it the perfect choice for both business and leisure travelers alike.
Location is ideal in District 1, close to many restaurants and walking street. Within walking distance of the Cathedral, City Hall, Opera House, Bach Dang marina, and many other attractions and shopping areas.

Excellent location in district 1 downtown- walking distance to everything. lots of choices to eat.
Close to Siagon Tourist Company who are great at organising city double-decker bus tour. Hotel staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast excellent has egg station / good choice of hot local dishes / fruit / crusty baguette and jam . Room had view over street - lovely
This hotel is right in the heart of district 1, walking distance from Ben Thanh markets and walking street. The staff is amazing here! The friendliest and most welcoming experience I've had at any hotel in Vietnam! This is my 2nd time coming back to Diamond luxury I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a quiet, nice hotel in the heart of the city.
Ho chi Minh was a fantastic city. And GK Central was a fantastic hotel. Clean and comfortable and a central location, close to all district 1s sights. All the staff were friendly and helpful, but Dao deserves a special mention. She was extremely knowledgeable, gave us some excellent advice and helped us with all our imminent travel arrangements.
Nice location, center of HCMC, there is 24hr convenience store as well next the hotel. Walkable distance to go around district 1 to sightseeing the city. Daytour accepted to pick us from this hotel. Spacious room, unique interior, nice Myst relaxing smell in the hotel. Most important thing, my child can enjoy the breakfast and the room.
Staffs are friendly and supportive. After I booked, I was contacted by Miss. Xuan Lan, a hotel staff, offering her support. The room locates near one of the busiest street in Ho Chi Minh City, thus there are many entertainment activities. From there, you can easily travel the city center.
Was a nice hotel that was a little out from District 1 which we quite enjoyed. It was nice to see a different area of Ho Chi Minh City and be a little bit away from the center of town where a lot of other tourists were based.
The staff were very nice and the room was very comfortable.
This is the best hotel to stay in ho chi Minh city for sure, thanks to the entire team who is available for the smooth conduct of your stay....I was assured of a comfortable stay from all perspectives...I promise to be back at Nicecy boutique hotel once in back to Vietnam
Excellent customer service from Long , Giang and rest of the hotel team, great central location, wonderfu daily breakfast options. Room service very efficient and clean, spotless. We would love to stay here again if we are back in Ho Chi Minh city.
