Pranburi is a quiet beach town.
Pranburi is a quiet beach town. It has one part which is slightly busier along the Dolphin Bay Hotel area, with more restaurant options, shops and a nicer beach, but not overwhelming. The other part is quieter and still developing but has some very nice resorts. It is impossible not relax. Lots of beach space for kids to play.

Pran Buri, is the town.
Pran Buri, is the town. The beach front area is known as 'Pak Nam Pran'. Quieter and more relaxed than Hua-Hin and Cha-Am, it's both a bit further from Bangkok and slightly better value. There are not the same range of restaurants, bars or other tourists facilities as the previously mentioned resort areas, but there is good food to be had, and some decent resorts.

We booked for 3 days to be near Kuri Buri national park to go on elephant safari which was amazing! Not sure I would want to holiday there for long period. The locals need to clean up the beach from rubbish, as it could be really beautiful.
The resort was beautiful - with waterways and flowers everywhere. My room had everything I needed (air con, fridge, balcony) and the pool was also great. I had the hotel breakfasts, which were delicious, with a big range of sweet and savoury, Thai and western options (fruit, toast, fried rice, curry, Kao Tom & omelette).
The best thing was the staff. They were so friendly and helpful, always happy to stop for a little chat. They were also great helping me see the local area - arranging taxis etc. Thanks for a great stay!
We stayed for 5 days at Praseban in PranBuri. A very nice and quiet resort. Ideal for relaxing. The staff were very friendly and always courteous. I can only recommend our bungalow right on the beach. Hua Hin is also not far away if you want to experience something. There are also lots of kitesurfers. Real pros, great to watch or take part in. The Praseban is a good alternative to the hustle and bustle of Hua Hin. Really recommendable.

Nice hotel with great staff. We have booked a room with sea view. It was really big and clean. We also tried food at the hotel restaurant which was delicious. Hotel staff is friendly and very professional. Big thanks to Mr Sanit. He went well beyond to help us to book our train ticket and helped us to organise everything. Thanks to his hospitality and kindness, our stay at Golden Pine Hotel become one of the best we had so far.
Perfect for what you can ask for at this price. Quite basic (you can’t avoid to wet the toilet seat when you shower, as an example), but reasonable size of the bedroom, a refrigerator, water boiler and some instant coffee provided. Very clean. Very friendly hosts. Just a few hundred meters from the coast, with a nice beach road for your running. Nice beach just 2 km south, with great kitesurfing spots.
Sincere thanks to the most lovely staff for facilitating our wonderful stay. Thank you especially to the wonderful manageress who was so helpful in helping us plan our day trips in our hire car.
Beautiful large rooms, beautiful grounds that were very peaceful. I highly recommend this hotel / resort.
Great price for a great room. The staff let me in and I don’t think I had a key. I just needed a bed for the night. It’s in a good location close to the beach and there are some lovely restaurants close by. The room was big and clean and comfy. Just what I needed. Thank uou
