We enjoyed staying in a traditional home; that it was the childhood home of the person sharing it with us made it feel very special. The room was very comfortable, and though Ishbel apologized that it was the only room without an ocean view it was still lovely and she insisted on us having the best view at breakfast, which was delicious and beautifully presented.

We are golfers and I would recommend Lossiemouth as a good base to explore all the courses along the Moray coast. There are plenty hidden gems of courses. Ensure to use the Moray Golf ticket and special offers to save some money on the courses.
The local eateries especially the Firth Hotel provide good food at reasonable prices although busy at weekends so require to book.

Lossiemouth is a delightful seaside town with two beautiful white sandy beaches. Lots of room and never over run. A delight to have a peaceful walk or a dip in the ocean. The water in September we found positively balmy. There is a sports centre and swimming pool and some really nice restaurants and hotels.

Such a beautiful place.
Such a beautiful place. Highly recommend the salt cellar for a meal. The boat trip onto the moray firth dolphin spotting wow to be up close to these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat was simply mindblowing. The beach is stunning and a lovely place for a stroll watching surfers and an array of wildlife you really could lose yourself for a few hours here it is so tranquil.

It is a lovely Scottish Town overlooking the Moray Firth.
It is a lovely Scottish Town overlooking the Moray Firth. It is well placed for travelling to places of interest. RAF Lossiemouth is set away from the town, but it is exciting to see some of the Typhoons doing manoeuvres over the sea. There are a couple of good restaurants, but they are small and are not open late. It has a very good golf course, which is very popular and it holds important tournaments.
We had a fantastic time in this lovely caravan, it has everything you need. The TV in the bedroom was a great feature. The 2 decking areas were amazing, especially as the weather was hot during our stay. The view of the lighthouse is beautiful, especially when it's lit up at night. The caravan is situated very close to the path down to the beach and also to the restaurant/bar/shop/park area. Our 6 year old daughter and dog loved the beach, it certainly tired them out every day! The chippy onsite was really nice.
I liked everything about the Firth. Location was excellent, my room had a wonderful view over the beach, the staff were polite & friendly, & very accommodating to my needs as i have a medical need, they listened to what kind of foods that i could & couldn't eat, & amended the menu for me with no problems at all. I would highly recommend the Firth Hotel to anyone looking for a quiet & relaxing break, in a very beautiful part of Scotland.
Perfect accommodation in a perfect location! Spotlessly clean and really homely inside, you feel welcome as soon as you step in. Has everything and more that you need and Amy is really lovely, thanks for checking in! The view is unbelievable and sunrises I'll never forget. Lossiemouth is brilliant, lots to do and lots to do in surrounding area as well. Was hard to leave, as didn't want to! Thanks Amy
Dog friendly, extremely clean, comfortable, good parking, great location close to the beach. Shower was far better than I imagined, great pressure and temperature control and much better than most of the hotels I've stayed in.
Wish I didn't need to work and I could have made more of the area.
The site itself is undergoing some major refurbishment and should be really nice once completed.
I was absolutely delighted with the standard of accommodation at Cliffside as it was very comfortable, really well equipped and spotlessly clean. It was an ideal base to explore the local area and direct access to the beach was fabulous. The owners were very welcoming and helpful with recommendations for activities and restaurants.
What wasn't there to like about the golf view Hotel!?! The views are incredible. All staff are friendly, talkative and happy to help. My room was a good size, comfortable, clean and had a lovely view out to see and the light house. Both my evening meal and breakfast was lovely also.
Lovely room with view overlooking the Moray Firth. Fantastic breakfast with fresh fruit, local bacon and/or smoked salmon, and more. Friendly owners, gave us advice about places in the area and even produced some delicious home-made cake. Really enjoyed our weekend.
We visited Scotland to see family. See local attractions and paint the beautiful Scottish landscape. We saw the opening of a new pedestrian bridge too. A twenty-minute journey by car to Elgin to shop for gifts etc, and even the weather was faultless too.
Fabulous location about as near to the edge of the sea as you could get and with absolutely stunning views across Spey Bay. Surprisingly spacious apartment, which is extremely well equipped, and the under-cover parking area is a real bonus.
Excellent family size room with views across the golf course to the sea.
Extra personal items included in the room/ensuite to make your stay more enjoyable. These you wouldn't get in a hotel.
Excellent breakfast very well presented.
It is like a hotel without the restaurant or bar. Communication was excellent and kind. Rooms were lovely and beds really comfortable. Location was superb with beautiful views over the Moray Firth.
The property was very well looked after and in a brilliant location 2 min walk from the lighthouse and beach but also not far in the car from the like of the other beach and main Lossiemouth
Lovely hosts , very knowledgeable about the area and the history of the house , very attentive and extremely friendly , would 100% be happy to recommend this B&B.
Will be going back…
The location, being in Lossiemouth, and especially this time since the air force jets are flying much much less than before.
Walking and sightseeing in Morayshire, Banffshire ...
A truly wonderful stay! Beautiful rooms, really lovely staff, even the dog was made to feel incredibly welcome.
We will definitely return to this fantastic hotel!
