Nice Hotel in a Good Location. The staff were friendly and helpful (apart from the issues below). The room was huge, but a little dated, but the bathroom was fine.
It was nice a quiet too, with a view of the garden.

Clean, fresh room, ensuite shower,no bath, tea and coffee provided with kettle, microwave Beautiful location and village although we didn't explore as the purpose of our visit was to meet our newborn granddaughter who is in lumphinnans and that's where we spent all our time.
TV had Freeview and fire stick as well as Chromecast which was very thoughtful . Lovely garden and liked the fact we had private and secure entrance. Very nice and comfortable all in all and any messages to staff were answered immediately. Would definitely stay again and explore the staff suggestions listed in room and site.

As always the people are very pleasant, the wee coffee shops which are all lovely, nice varied menus and homemade cakes! The butcher shop is a must the choices in this shop are amazing! Lots of nice wee independent shops too selling an array of something different!

There is not much to do in Kinross.
There is not much to do in Kinross. We went to the lake and wanted to visit the castle but it was closed due to a private event. Some shops are closed or are closing in the town. The small jetty looks abandoned and run down. It might have been nice to walk or cycle around the loch. However, for us 1 day was sufficient time. We really liked the small cafe Reminisce. Well situated for overnight stay en route to Edinburgh. Lovely big room with plenty wardrobe space. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and promptly served. Excellent choices for breakfast just what was needed hot selection cold selection pastries and cereals. J would highly recommend this hotel. Never had a chance to go in to Main Street but will visit again

It's a small town but it has everything.
It's a small town but it has everything. Loch Leven is a gem and the surrounding countryside very beautiful. The drives to Perth and Scone Palace as well as to Stirling are gorgeous. It's within half and hour of Edinborough and 45 minutes of Glasgow. I had recent hip surgery and on arrival requested a ground floor room which the receptionist was able arrange. Room was very large with 6feet bed, work desk, table & chairs, tea & Coffee making facilities. Large well appointed bathroom with double shower, all soap and shampoo supplied. Comfortable soft towels! We ate in the bar restaurant. Food was very good, well priced and with excellent table service.
