Breakfast was very good. We also had dinner at the hotel and that was very nice indeed. The room was quite large - it was a family room, with bunk beds even though there was just the 2 of us. It was comfortable and clean enough.

The only small issue as stepping out onto mud where you park the car. One side was paved but to get to boot you walking in mud. Have to remember to park the car facing the entrance/exit . That way you step onto the small paved area.

I loved the open plan living area, en suite double room, great facilities for cooking, washing/drying clothes, etc., big garden, wonderful views and peace and solitude. Kim was lovely - friendly and welcoming, made you feel at home. If only I'd had more time to walk around the farm, which you were welcomed to do. A bird spotter's paradise - I spotted many varieties that I don't see any more in the town. A walk around the lane brought us to a field with horses and donkeys. Two donkeys came trotting up to us to greet us, all the way from the other side of the field - it was the highlight of my week, as was waking up, looking out the kitchen window at a large rabbit sitting outside, which I watched for a very long time. Wonderful!
