The room was cute and quire cosy although the building is very dated. The food was amazing in the pub and restaurant and the staff super helpful and friendly

We had a meal in the restaurant and it was good. It was a very convenient one-night stop over, meaning we were only about 25 minutes from the Stena Line Terminal at Birkenhead. There was plenty of free parking. The staff were friendly.

Food in the restaurant was lovely. I liked there was a Starbucks on location and staff were excellent.

Had a drink in the bar before bed....really nice and helpful barman ( don't know his name but he was on crutches)...we had travelled over for a funeral and he helped by googling directions to the church.
