Our stay in one of their exquisite split level suite was nothing short of exceptional. The tastefully decorated suite radiated elegance and provided all the necessary amenities for a relaxing and indulgent experience. The attention to detail in every aspect of the room was impressive, from the plush bedding to the opulent bathroom fixtures.
A major highlight of my stay was the delectable evening meal. The Peat Inn's Michelin-starred restaurant serves up culinary masterpieces that tantalize the taste buds and leave you craving for more. Each dish on the seasonal menu was beautifully presented and featured fresh, locally-sourced ingredients, showcasing the region's rich produce. The knowledgeable staff provided impeccable service and were always ready to offer insightful wine pairing recommendations to complement the exquisite flavors.
The breakfast was equally delightful, served in the comfort of my room. A lavish spread of fresh fruit, pastries, marmalade, honey and jams accompanied by freshly brewed coffee and tea made for a delightful start to the day.
Another noteworthy feature was the stunning garden view from the bedroom. The meticulously landscaped garden, adorned with vibrant flowers and lush greenery, added an extra touch of charm to the already picturesque setting.

Cupar is ideally placed to travel around Fife.. We mainly visited St Andrews as our great nephew was attending the university. We dined in St Andrews for all our meals so we cannot say anything about dining in Cupar. The rooms are all on the ground floor, lovely and very comfortable and overlooking the garden which is several hundred metres from the road down a private lane. Cupar is a historic town dating back to the 7th century..
Cupar is a historic town dating back to the 7th century.. An excellent and authentic example of Scottish tradition in particular around the area where Cupar Burgh Chambers is located. Visit the museum next to Cupar Station. Crossgate is it's main axial road and has everything you need. Fisher and Donaldson have two bakeries in the town - a small one in Crossgate and a tea room next to the large Tesco. Try their stovies, fudge doughnut or a marzipan fruit or Belgian biscuit but lot's more!! A wonderful base for exploring the beautiful Fife countryside with it's quaint villages and St Andrew's itself - get a bus and try some whiskies there!!" The Fife Folk Museum in the nearby village of Cerus is very interesting and has a tea room. The Deer Park a must go to venue with lots to do and see for all ages.

Cupar or Ladybank are both good for connecting trains.
Cupar or Ladybank are both good for connecting trains. Cupar is well worth a visit and a return HOWEVER we use this area to stay to enable visits to the whole area and its coastline and even for day trips further North or Glasgow/ Edinburgh.richard

All the fixtures and fittings were good quality. Lovely big comfortable beds, well laid out kitchen with everything we needed. The location was ideal as was so central to Cupar town centre and allowed easy access to the shops and places to eat. The room was so comfortable, even had a little fridge which was great and everything we could possibly need in the room, the bathroom was fab with a lovely shower and anything you could need had you forgotten to pack any toiletries.

It is beautifully appointed and styled, and is very comfortable. The bathroom is lovely and functional. The host was very nice and easy to communicate with.
