The property was in an ideal location and the room was really nice. There were some renovation works going on in the room next to mine which started quite early on my 1st morning but that's the only fault.

The cozy rooms with the doll house and the record player was a fun touch, while the staff went above and beyond to cater our every need. A truly delightful experience from start to finish.

Wonderful, World Heritage-listed Bath is an impressive mix of Georgian architecture and Roman legacy. Its most famous landmark is the fantastic, natural hot spring Roman Baths. Although everything above the pillar bases is from a later period, you still get an idea of its appearance in Roman times. Sadly you can’t bathe here, but across the street the rooftop pool at Thermae Bath Spa offers views of Bath Abbey and the surrounding hills.
Check out the stained-glass windows in the abbey, England’s last remaining Gothic church. Its square houses Pump Rooms dispensing hot spring water from the Roman baths.
Just behind, the Parade Gardens by the River Avon overlook Bath Rugby Club, the multi-levelled Pulteney Weir and Grade I-listed Pulteney Bridge, lined with shops. Other Bath shopping options are the Southgate Shopping Centre, the bohemian Walcot Street market, and high street stores on Milsom and George streets.
North is The Circus, a circular square lined with Georgian townhouses, only marginally less impressive than the Royal Crescent down the road. You can now visit number 1 Royal Crescent, restored to its 18th-century glory.
Before heading to Bristol Airport from your Bath accommodation, take time to try the famous Sally Lunn Bun and stop at the pleasant pubs along the Kennet and Avon Canal.
Bath is a great city. It was the accommodation that was the problem, we were entirely mislead by photos of the interior and exterior.
Plenty of coffee shops, restaurants are a bit pricey.
Lots to see and do.

this is a lovely city to visit, and I really enjoyed what there was to do and the dining options were great!
I would visit again!
The Roman Bath tour is wonderful, and I really enjoyed the Thermae Bath Spa - highly recommend it! It was easy to take the train to Salisbury and see Stonehenge from here as well.
It is easy to get around walking or else jump in a taxi. We took the train to Bath from London - 1 1/2 hours so easy to get to.
I was disappointed in the hotel we stayed at and would not go there again, but it looks like there are many other lovely places to stay.

We were so lucky that the sun came out and we walked everywhere. The city is pretty and enjoyable from and to every corner, filled with history and ancient sites, new things to learn and discover.
There are many places for food and drinks but it depends on what you want to do: as there are many parks and green areas you can also opt for buying a few things in a supermarket and then lay down on the grass with your company!
It is pretty easy to go around the city and there are many places where information could be asked if needed.
We did not have much time this time, but... Next time I definitely would love to enter the Roman Baths, which are always very busy to even book in advance, especially during May-June.

Bath is a city that offers so much to visitors. There is a wide range from cultural attractions, historical sites and museums, to theatre and performance venues, to unique art galleries. e.g. Architectural masterpieces like the Royal Crescent and the Circus; Bath Abbey; The Roman Baths dating back to AD43; The Holburne Museum; The Jane Austen Centre; Pulteney Bridge that was built in the late 1700's to connect central Bath to land on the other side of the River Avon.

Places to eat: Bath offers a variety of places to eat and takeaways. There is a very wide range of cuisine. Something for everyone.
The location was perfect. The trails and views were amazing . Transportation to town was really cheap and easy. The bus runs every 15 mins. Free parking with your stay. The rooms were really new with lots of storage space. Loads of power outlets. Very clean and tidy. Checking in and out was very simple. The staff were exceptional. 100% customer service. Alot better than hotels . Definately recommended to any Bath explorers.
the size of the room and space in bathroom. comfy bed. good access into property when required as separate access to accommodation. no breakfast provided due to Covid but excellent cafe recommended by the hotel up the road. very friendly staff. shame did not get chance to sample the beers in the bar but on official engagements elsewhere in Bath. Good car park. easy walk into centre and cheap enough for a taxi back.
We had an amazing weekend in Bath and The Dukes hotel was excellent . Our room was beautiful and spacious and very clean. The hotel was in a prefect location, only a 5 minute walk into the centre of Bath, but far enough away for a peaceful nights sleep. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were friendly and very helpful. We will definitely be returning to this hotel again in the future.
The whole experience at Gainsborough Spa was fantastic, really warm welcome and complimentary room upgrade on arrival. Help with parking and drinks whilst we waited to check in. Feels more like a boutique hotel with nice visibility of staff , friendly, professional and attentive. Everything was easy, uncomplicated and relaxing Spa experience. Breakfast was very good.
We took the best room in the hotel because I concluded that from the window you could see Bath Abbey. The room was spacious, the bed was excellent, we had eggs benedict for breakfast, and all the questions we had were answered by the very friendly receptionist with glasses. Fantastic hotel and not too expensive. I recommend it to anyone.
The location is great---steps from the Roman Baths and restaurants and shops. The hotel is novel---all rooms open on a central courtyard and it's in an historic building. Our two rooms were perfect for our group of 5 (4 adults, one teenager). The kitchen was very functional so we were able to eat breakfast together in the room.
The facilities were excellent as usual, Great, large bedroom and bathroom, with a view over the gardens and city. It's one of the few hotels we feel at home and able to relax completely. The close proximity to Bath city centre and the easy walk in also make it a good place to stay and spend some time in the centre of Bath.
Hotel location is excellent on the royal crescent, probably best located hotel in Bath. Very quiet but still central and walkable to everything. Great breakfast and pretty gardens. We enjoyed our treatments at the spa, which has good facilities - a nice saltwater pool, sauna, steam room and hot tub.
The room was very clean and the hotel is a 10-minute walk from the city centre.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating as well.
Really comfy bed and the bathroom was very clean.
Breakfast was OK not many options, however this maybe due to it being a small hotel.
Very friendly and helpful staff. We had an excellent evening meal and very good breakfast. The hotel is brilliantly placed for the train station and also for easy access to the city centre. The room was spacious, comfortable and quiet, with a very good bathroom.
The rooms are clean, comfortable, and have everything you need for a nice stay. The location is amazingly central and the price is excelleng for the location. Overall I would highly rate the Z Hotel, it is my go to whenever I stay in bath.
An excellent location in Bath! The beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel staff stayed in touch daily via a text message, so we always felt like they were easily accessible by text or at the front desk.
Nice room, comfortable bed and great staff. The location of the hotel makes it ideal for visiting central Bath. Plenty of nearby resteraunts with a variety of different cuisines. Great for the Xmas markets.
Very boutique, beautifully appointed and decorated for a small space. The location was excellent, easy to walk to the main city centre and explore Bath. The basket breakfast was a delightful addition.
Excellent breakfast with choices that might put many 5 star Hotels in their place.
Confortable beds and the parking space right at the location.
Easy walking distance to Bath city centre.
The location is excellent for accessing the city centre though the hotel is uncomfortably close to rowdy nightlife. The building itself is a handsome regency terrace in the centre of Bath.
Great old time hotel in good location across from train/bus station. Easy walk to main attractions of Bath. Staff helpful with suggestions for food and sights to see.
Beautiful old hotel. Lovely common areas and a gorgeous room.Fantasic bathroom .Excellent location just 3-4 blocks from the crowds. Attentive, friendly staff.
