The location next to all the restaurants, and train station. We were able to store our luggage at the hotel before check in, so we could explore HIroshima before check in time. Our luggage was already in our room when we eventually checked in! We appreciated the restaurant recommendation made by staff. We were also able to store our luggage on our last day. There was staff readily available to store our luggage.
It is a lovely hotel and will plan to stay there again when we return. Thank you very much.

Our room wasn't large but quite adequate, with a beautiful view across the harbour and an even better outlook from the cocktail lounge.
Apart from enjoying the sights and tastes of downtown Hiroshima, the small okonomiyaki restaurant adjacent to the hotel was a tasty surprise.

The staff of this hotel will go above and beyond to make you feel at home. Not only they handled the delivery of our luggages smoothly but they gave us complementary umbrellas to walk in the city (as it was raining). The staff can also keep an eye on your belongings after you check out, which was very good for us, as we had our train in the afternoon. The room was very clean and comfortable. 10/10 would recommend.

Stayed in Hiroshima for 2 nights. Did a day trip to Miyajima Island which we absolutely loved and would highly recommend to everyone travelling to Hiroshima. Spent another day sightseeing on a 3 hour bike tour booked via Viator. A wonderful tour which we would encourage others to do as well. Stumbled upon Okonomimura aka Okonomiyaki Village which we went to both nights for a tasty meal. Loved the city and definitely worth travelling to.

You should stay more than 1 night in Hiroshima, atleast 2 days, better 3 days.
So you have enough time to explore everything.
Compared to other cities, hiroshima is way more modern and is less traditionalthan kyoto for example. But thaths why it is so nice to see, it is different than other locations in Japan.

This is a city of great historical importance and I felt humbled by the way the people of Japan and citizens of Hiroshima have rebuilt this city devastated by nuclear bomb. It was deeply painful to visit The Hall of Remembrance and see and hear a choir of school children singing near Children's Peace Monument. Those who are rattling nuclear sabres today should remember Hiroshima. Despite painful history people of this city are wonderful. Anywhone visiting Japan should see Hiroshima.

Hiroshima is a great city.
Hiroshima is a great city. The peace park and museum were very touching. It is incredible to see how the city has been rebuilt and is thriving. The day trip to Miyajima island is a must with a hike to Mt. Misen and seeing Otorii shrine.

Hiroshima is a thriving city now, which we were glad to see.
Hiroshima is a thriving city now, which we were glad to see. We walked around on our own one afternoon and had an excellent (and moving) local tour of the Peace Park and related memorials the next morning. For lunch we had a delicious local Okonomiyaki. For dinner we tried oysters done in five different preparations, as it is another specialty of the area. (They are quite large, however, and not our favorite.)
We never got to the castle or gardens, and did not visit Miyajima, which is why I would have liked one more night. But it was enough time for the basics. We would recommend that everyone take the time to visit Hiroshima. It is part of our collective history and essential now to understand the dangers we all face in today's volatile world.
The open roof onsen is a must! It was sooo relaxing and on a cool night in October, the hot water felt just right and melted away all the stress and fatigue of carrying heavy luggage and all the walking.
The hotel feels fancier than the price implies. We were really impressed.
We left our luggage in the morning and when we checked in at night, it was already in our room. It was really so convenient and perfect and the views from the front desk on floor 13 are wonderful. Definitely got some good pictures overlooking Hiroshima.
Only 5 mins walk from Hiroshima station. The hotel is beautiful and rooms are very spacious. My room had toilet and bath separate (Japanese style) so I enjoyed soaking in the tub every night. Hotel has good amenities (free coffee, tea, hot water heater, toothbrush, etc.) Hotel has 7-Eleven on the first floor, Lawson across the street, with few restaurants in the same building. Hiroshima station has also many restaurants and cafes. The hotel is in the North side of the Hiroshima station which is the quiet side.
I have stayed in Hiroshima over 10 times over the last few years and I have experience of many different types of hotels and places to stay. Especially considering the price of the stay, which was exceptional value, for my needs, this was the best place I have stayed in so far. Some people might prefer regular hotels, but this place had more of a vibe of an airBNB, but without any need of dealing with anyone face to face, as the check it is all electronic.
The hotel Granvia is well located for a trip to Hiroshima, located just above the train station. Access to convenience store and food and beverage options outside hotel is great.
Service exceeded expectations as we arrived prior to check in time, stored our bags and went out for the day. When we returned to check in, our bags were already in our rooms. Happy to store luggage after checkout as week so that you can maximise your stay in the city.
The location is within walking distance to the Atomic Bomb Memorial, and Honduri shopping street with plenty of shops and eateries. Traveling from Hiroshima train station to the hotel has a bus service with a bus stop almost right in front of the hotel. The staff are very helpful, polite and professional. The breakfast at 25th floor has a good variety of food especially the Japanese selection, and a fantastic view of the city.
Everything went smoothly in my stay at Capsule Hotel Cube Hiroshima. I was greeted by a very warm lady (I forgot to ask her name!) as soon as I stepped in the reception at the 4th floor. She took my luggage for safekeeping then walked me through the buses and times for my tours.
The ladies dorm was superb! Bed was comfy, showers and toilets were squeaky clean. I stayed here for 2 nights.
breakfast was good, location was excellent - just around corner from Hiroshima memorial peace museum, across street from post office, and cost was very reasonable. able to do laundry with provided laundry detergent by hotel. Has a public onsen but I did not use as it was a bit small and there was mother in with her kids when I went to check
Great location very close to Hiroshima railway station. The room was spacious and had an excellent bathroom and separate toilet. The bed was huge and comfy. The hotel staff generously upgraded our room. There is a 7/11 at the lobby of the building and a Lawson just in the next building - very convenient.
The hotel is perfectly located in the center of Hiroshima — everything is close by. It's only a 5-minute walk to the Peace Park and to public transportation to Miyajima. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was spacious with a nice bathtub, and the complimentary coffee in the lobby was a nice touch.
We stayed on exec floor and had incredible view towards Hiroshima Castle and the hills beyond. An older hotel but very clean, spacious rooms and very good customer service. Bathroom was well stocked with quality toiletries.
This is a great hotel with really friendly staff.
It’s spotlessly clean with great amenities and in a perfect location for getting around Hiroshima.
I enjoyed my stay here and will stay again when I return.
Thank you.
Amazing location, the place to stay in Hiroshima. Lovely guest services like washing and communal places to sit outside of your room. Amazing shower and bathroom facilities. Overall such a pleasant and cool hotel
Superbly located hotel in Hiroshima. Very comfortably appointed for our family of four (two teens) with connecting rooms. Excellent value for money. We really enjoyed our time in Hiroshima.
The location of the hotel is excellent - virtually adjoining Hiroshima Station. The staff were all very friendly, polite and professional. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton.
Great location! Close to the night life in Hiroshima. Walking distance to Peace Park. Taxi stop by hotel. Pretty small room, but comfortable. Overall great hotel for great price!
We absolutely loved our stay in Hiroshima. Amazing location and great staff. The KNOT coins was an amazing idea also, we had a good time at the hotel rooftop
