Room was very clean, had all you need. Wifi was easy to connect to. Breakfast had a lot of choice. Had dinner in the evening and was reasonable cost for a hotel, but very good quality. Location - a bit out of the way compared to where I expected as it was in the middle of apartment blocks but near the station

FAQs about hotels in Bruges

Picture Postcard Perfect

Bruges is a picture perfect medieval city that will charm you with its distinctive, century-old houses, plentiful canals and city walls. The famous 13th-century Belfry offers the opportunity to watch the cobbled market place, the Grote Markt, below while 47 bells call out to the city every 15-minutes. While you’re in the Grote Markt you can take a ride in one of the horse-drawn carriages around the city.

Many interesting artefacts can be found in the churches of Bruges, a Michelangelo statue is housed in the Church of Our Lady and the Basilica of the Holy Blood contains a vial of blood reportedly from Jesus Christ. Other museums include the Groeninge Museum which includes works of art spanning 6 centuries.

Belgium cuisine is famous worldwide and the cafes of Bruges offer an inviting retreat from the cooler climate. Brewery De Halve Maan explains the process behind the beer which washes down the world-class fries, chocolate and mussels found all over the city.

Bruges is easily reached from the Brussel-Zuid train station or the Brussels Airport. From a romantic suite to an apartment for a group of friends, Booking.com will make sure your stay in Bruges is a memorable one.

We have been to Bruges a number of times and always find something new to see. There are plenty of bars serving an excellent selection of good beers and wines and there is a variety of good restaurants. It is easy to get to by road or rail and is a good centre for cycling.

Lovely medieval city with loads of history.

Lovely medieval city with loads of history. If you like walking along narrow cobble stones streets, beautiful medieval buildings, canal walls, museums and Belgium chocolates, waffles and the variety of many delicious Belgium beers, its the place for you. Easy to walk around and navigate. The people are very friendly and helpful. It felt very safe too. Ideal for a city break. One suggestion if you do not want to be ripped off for the price of a beer and food is avoid the Market Square for eating and drinking. Over priced and low quality compared to the many other places minutes away down the side streets. We paid 11.50 euro for a 50cl beer and soon realized this was not the average price. Others nearby were charging anything from 6.50 euro to 7 euro on average and the food and service was better. I would also recommend the Legends of Bruges walking tour. Very informative and a great way to get to know the city.

Bruges was quite busy (very touristy) and this wasn't even the peak of the holiday season. It's an attractive city and therefore, understandably popular, but I found Ghent surprisingly more friendly. Bruges needs to get its act together and emulate Ghent's excellent Visitor Guide books (printed in the main European languages).

The property communicated with us right away once it was booked and gave lots of helpful information. They even let us know that early check in might be available so we arrived early and were able to check in a couple of hours early which allowed us more time to explore the beautiful city of Bruges since we were only staying one night. The staff was amazing, the hotel beautiful and located in walking distance from the train station and the city center. The room was beautiful, clean, beds comfortable, and lovely bathroom.

Very warm welcome, excellent B&B, short 5 minute walking distance from both parking garage (with electric car charger, which is always a challenge in Belgium!) and city centre. Best breakfast ever and great stories on some of the vintage finds om display. Room with luxere, big bath was very clean, coffee machine in the room, mini fridge with cold drinks in the hall. Can’t think of anything that would have improved the stay. They even have a happy little dog that greets you every morning as you come down 😊

The room was a good size and well furnished. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful giving us excellent advice on what to do in Bruges. The location of the hotel is excellent as it is very easy to walk to all attractions. Although there is no where to park a car at the hotel, we were directed by the receptionist to the parking lot at the station which was secure, under cover, only a ten minute walk to the hotel and - best of all - extraordinarily cheap for the three days the car was parked there.

The rooms were decorated impeccably and the hotel bar had a great selection of drinks with a gorgeous Art Deco sitting room. The staff were friendly and attentive. They provided some great advice on how to get the most from our time in Bruges. The location of the hotel is superb. Right next everything in the city centre while being just enough off of the main roads that it provides a tranquil space to pause before heading back out. The elegant Christmas decorations were the icing on top.

It is a very cozy hotel in a walking distance from the center of Bruges. The room was exceptionally clean and bigger than we expected, the bathroom had no flaws either. The beds were comfortable - maybe the best ones we experienced so far. The owner/manager of the property was very entertaining to chat with. And yes, she spoke perfect English. We stayed at the Monsieur Maurice one night on our way to France. The hotel is off the beaten tourist track in a very quiet area, but still very close to the city centre. We weren't able to book a parking for our car, but there were plenty of car parks in the vicinity, so that was not a problem. The owner was very friendly and our family room was nice and had everything we needed. Breakfast was also great.

Very well situated in the centre of all significant attractions. Nothing was more than 2-3 minutes on foot. If you have limited time in Bruges, the location is 10/10 and 5 star Room was very spacious, luxurious bed, and one of the best sleeps we had. So so love the bed. A shame we didn’t have time to check the wellness center. I will chose this property again if I’m ever in Bruges again.
