Location was a good distance from town that it wasn't noisy but still close enough to walk to the train station.
Room didn't have a kettle, but when asked for one at reception I was given one. The staff were excellent, only one thing to note, when recommending the restaurant Herrschaft's to foreign customers please let them know to take cash as they only accept German cards. Good choice for breakfast.

The breakfast was really cheap but really nice, so great value for money. The bed was comfortable. Enough room to move around. There was a fan in the room which was much appreciated, and a big tv. Parking is free and the drive to Erfurt isn’t too far, which was great.

A blend of Colour, Cultural and Architectural Gems
Erfurt is a perfect base for exploring the state of Thuringia. This lively and cultural town is home to the spectacular Erfurt Cathedral and Augustinian Monastery, Merchants Bridge, and the renowned Krämerbrücke.
The best way to explore Erfurt is by foot, and whilst doing so ensure to wander through Stadtpark and Egapark and stroll around the Old Town which is lined by colourful and medieval houses.
Erfurt has a choice of hotels, entertainment and dining options nearby popular areas such as the Andreasviertel district, Fischmarkt, Dämmchen, and Michaelisstraße.
The town’s student population ensures an energetic nightlife, whilst the more laid-back traveller can opt to dine in a waterfront café or bar, before heading to a production at Erfurt Theatre.
If you’re planning to travel to Erfurt in August, the city hosts the classical music festival Domstufen-Festspiele, whilst in December ensure to check-out the Erfurt Christmas Market. Booking.com offers a variety of guest houses and apartments in Erfurt and the state of Thuringia.

One night and a day in Erfurt is sufficient to see the sights. It's worth a trip. The hotel is 10/15 minutes walk for the station and is a clean, value-for-money place well-located for what you need to see. I had a small, single room which was perfectly adequate for one night.

This is a most interesting town dating from 1200 at least.
This is a most interesting town dating from 1200 at least. There was a Jewish community from 10000 and I went to the Alte Synagog and would recommend it for information about a possible UNESCO site and a recreation of one of the oldest synagogues in Europe. Also - 14th century treasure! Unbelievably saved from 1349 - jewellery, rings, coins, all in excellent condition,.
I was also privileged to go to a Christmas Service at St Michaels Church (near to the theatre) which is the home of Ukrainians in Germany,

A delightful town to wander around.
A delightful town to wander around. The restaurants tended to close around 9 pm, (in October) but there are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. A couple of convenient trams wind their way through the centre from the station. Unusually for Germany, Erfurt was not heavily bombed so there is an interesting mix of architectural styles.
It would be good if Tourist Information could provide route maps identifying points /houses of interest. (We found the Altes Synagogue hard to find)

Erfurt is beautiful.
Erfurt is beautiful. A little taste of history, all the buildings are well preserved. Very easily accessible by foot and public transit, although the frequency of trains slows down early in the evening.
The cafes and restaurants are all wonderful. We ate at the Schnitzeler in Domplatz on the first night, which was excellent and with huge portions. During the day, getting a wurst from one of the street vendors in Domplatz is a must. If you are craving Ramen, check out JEN. The Hirsch Heinrich Sommergarten is the perfect place to spend an afternoon.
For sights, you need to check out Domplatz, Kramerbrucker and Anger Plaza. If it's a hot day, I highly recommend going to the outdoor pool at Nordpark.

Erfurt is a beautiful town full of charm and magic.
Erfurt is a beautiful town full of charm and magic. There are so many things to see most out of doors and without admission charges. The cathedral is very impressive. There’s a bakery on every block that serves great sandwiches-better than most restaurant dinners. There a more cafés than you can imagine all with wonderful specialties especially if you’re into coffee and cake, eiskaffee, or chocolate.

The Augustinerkloster and Old Synagogue tours were both excellent-highly recommend. If you are looking for a good breakfast, try Cafe del Sol. It is a little outside of town, but the bus stops very close to it.
I got a triple room only for myself and it was quite comfortable. Big window looking out at the hotel front with lots of lights coming in. The room was clean and simple. The kitchen is nicely decorated and well-equipped. Free coffee and tea are provided there. Plenty of spaces to sit and hang around. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It's about a 10 min walk to the old town and there is a bus running from the main train station directly to the hostel.
I liked the easy location and breakfast at the Radisson Blu but the fact it didn't have even just a little bar fridge was really annoying as I needed medical tablets and other things that needed to be chilled and I just assumed there would be at least a small bar bridge available. Far more practical than a safe!
Also, the room was much smaller than I had anticipated for similar prices in other former DDR cities. This was very disappointing.
I love that someone meets you and takes you to the room instead of an entry code. Reserved free secured parking on premises is excellent. The apartment had everything you might need and was comfortable and quiet. It seemed like it was going to be a long walk into center of town but it was not. Nice walk to all major sites. Will stay here again when in Erfurt.
The room was clean and warm, and the bed was comfy. The shower was hot and had excellent water pressure. Frau Bitterer was very friendly and takes obvious pride in her guesthouse.
It's so conveniently located - 15 minutes on foot from the train station, 10 or so from the Altstadt and the Krämerbrücke, and there's an Edeka about five minutes on foot.
Hotel is easily reached on foot, bicycle, or train from the city center, and is close to the Domplatz and Altstadt. It's located in a quieter part of central Erfurt. The facilities were new, clean, and spacious. It was convenient to do check-in either using a self-serve terminal or in person, and the keyless access was also appreciated.
A really well-appointed, centrally located hotel, with friendly, helpful staff. Our room was a good size and very comfortable. Easy to use shower with plenty of hot water and good quality toiletries. Top notch breakfast with a very good choice. Easy access to rooms and out of hours.
The hotel is near the highway exit in a quiet small town with a large parking place in front of it. The staff was very friendly and fluent in many languages. I had a very nice room, with a very good bed. A perfect rest.
The check in was easy and very friendly and the hotel great located next to the trainstation. For a good start in the following early day you can get an coffee for free. A+++ was this good service, thanks. :)
The bed is confortable, the hotel is really close to the train station. The TV from the room beside it was exactly in the wall of my bed. I couldn't sleep listening to the noise of the other room's TV.
Comfortable, value for money option for staying in Erfurt. There were several good-to-haves in the house, like an iron, washing machine, baby bed and changing table, kids furniture, and even razors!
Beautiful property, spacious apartment and well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, modern bathrooms. Pretty room terrace.
Amazing location close to all the main attractions of Erfurt.
Wifi and breakfast were excellent and rooms were very simple, but comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Location near Kramerbrucke was amazing!
