Clean, comfy, exceptionally relaxed host with plenty of trust and open hearted.
We were not there long enough to be judgemental.
However we walked down to Houghs to bring in the New Year. That was an enjoyable experience ( Even if we felt ancient. While walking to and from that location we thought that the street was very littered. We would like to visit Banagher and stay again in Charlotte 's Way in better weather.

The actual location is 7 miles from Banagher and in a different county; it would be more helpful to say it is at Eyrecourt; the Townland is named on the corresponding 1/50,000 map.
Easy driving distance from Clonmacnois, Birr, Clonfert, Portumna, all important tourist sites.
At the time we booked in mid September, there were no other on-line b&b vacancies at or near these sites.
We ate food purchased at Banagher though there is also a late opening store at Eyrecourt.
A truly exceptional place to stay during my short trip to Banagher recently. The level of service is truly extraordinary which combined with high quality accommodation and serious value for money to deliver a top class location.
I am more than happy to recommend this B&B accommodation for a really pleasant stay in the locality.
Beautiful location overlooking the water. While located in a small town, it is only a short drive away from Banagher. Great pub about 100m away (They draw a great pint of Guinness if you are so inclined). Darren the host is a wealth of local and surrounding areas and presents guests with a top notch breakfast in the morning.
Hosts could not have been more welcoming or offered a better service! Breakfast was fantastic, rooms were perfect and property is ideally placed to walk into the lovely town of Banagher. Hosts even offer to arrange transport to and from the town if you don't want to walk. Couldn't ask for more!
it is not a 4star hotel, but this was not booked. it is a good place to stay when you travel on a low budget. extremely welcoming hosts and a hearty breakfast in their dining room! we enjoyed the stay, got to peak into an Irish life.
the bed has an electric blanket…that was wonderful!
Very friendly and helpful host. Room was lovely and bed was comfortable
The pub across the street, is a friendly place, but normally doesn't serve food, so check out Banagher or Shannon Bridge.
Really delicious breakfast and would stay here again
We had a lovely chat with the owner on arrival and he gave us lots of information about Banagher and the surrounding area. We learned a lot about the local history. The location was perfect as we just parked up the car a strolled into town.
What a gem!!! Enjoyed staying with Joe & Geraldine from start to finish. Geraldine very kindly dropped us into Banagher where we were socialising. Cannot recommend here highly enough. We'll definitely be back here again :)
Nice location, very pretty beside the canal. Beautiful old house, with period interior and beautifully laid out garden. Banagher Town is 5 minutes by car for a wider range of food and drink options.
