Decent sized room and exceptionally comfortable bed. Also a dedent sized bathroom and walk in shower above average for this type of motel. A choice of Buffalo Grille and one other I forget just a few yards away where you can get a dcenet meal. Have stayed there twice and would use again.

A nice little town with a small grassed area on front of cafes and bars giving it a spacious feel. Many restaurants to choose from as well as local amenity shops. Cinema in the centre. Parking along the roadside free in many places. Pleasant to walk around the many small winding streets. Train station in town too. Niort is about 50 mins drive so nice to go into but better to drive away from the busyness of a tourist area and stay in Niort.

We travelled to Niort for the Jazz festival.
We travelled to Niort for the Jazz festival. We had a super evening with great music in the warm summer weather. Before that we had dinner at Le comptoir du Siam, a great Thai restaurant in the centre of Niort.
Niort has lots of bars and restaurants to choose from. There is a large CGR cinema which often has VO films (Version Originale), vital for English speakers whose French isn't fluent. There is a large pedestrian area in the centre which makes it easy to wander around. I recommend a visit!

Forgot to mention night Melissa and daytime Melissa, both exceptional. Daytime Melissa, the hotel manager went above and beyond duty to accommodate my every need, and I had a ton. Incredibly grateful. Will return every chance I have.

We stayed here for one night to break our journey by car to Spain. We chose the hotel because it was en route and dog friendly. We had a delicious evening meal and found the young lady who helped serve us “Lucy” very helpful and friendly.
It was very reassuring to speak to someone in English as the French we learned at school was a very long time ago.
We were very pleased to find a large car park at the hotel so near the centre of the town.
Will definitely stay here again if we drive to Spain again.

I only stayed here because it was a rendezvous point for a birdwatching trip, but I would highly recommend it for a 2 day stay. It has 3 beautiful churches, a city centre that is easy to navigate, other attractions such as the Dungeon and an excellent visitor centre.
It was lovely to be away from the big crowds nearer the coast and this city also has great shopping and window shopping.
Perfect stay! The staff are really friendly and accommodating. The room was much larger than I ever expected in an European hotel along with being very comfy and clean. The breakfast was suitable with continental options but easy to fill up especially with bread options. The location is a simple walk down the street from the train. I traveled a few places in France and this was my favorite spot. Even if I was visiting Nantes or La Rochelle nearby, I would stay here and just do the day trips. Would come here again!
We were looking for a place to stay for one night on our long drive from Josslin to Sarlat. Niort was in the middle so we picked this apartment. Great choice. It was bright, clean, modern with a good kitchen, nice bathroom, and comfortable bed. Being on ground floor, it had a small patio. Good WiFi and easy check in and out. We had our own parking space. A really nice apartment. Can't comment on location because we weren't there to see Niort.
The location is perfect if you want to visit Niort. The flat has all you need for a short stay and comes with a huuUuuge TV.
Gorgeous roof view of down town Niort.
The owner & the intendant are very helpful.
Friendly Building > I met a bunch of lovely people who booked other accommodations in the same place and got to meet the neighbours' cats trying to catch the local swallows ;)
We had not heard of Niort, and went there because a friend lives there. What a gorgeous town! Beautiful buildings, spacious streets and lovely people. Our hosts at the hotel were lovely. They made sure we were comfortable, made the process of checking in and out easy, and take pride in their hotel. It was a pleasure to stay with them and we will again in the future I'm sure.
All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the room had a kettle and fridge. Good breakfast The hotel was easy to find on the edge of town, with free outside parking (underground parking available for a reasonable price) A good range of restaurants, including Moroccan, Japanese and French within 5 mins walk
The hotel was really clean, modern. the beds were excellent and you has the added option of buying the pillows, which were also amazingly comfy. The hotel is also opposite 2 restaurants and a bowling alley, this was superb for the family. It is out of town and on a trading estate so loads of other things are there if you fancy a stroll.
Excellent little hotel, family run; very comfortable family room with 2 extra beds for the boys (and not a converted sofa).. the pool is an asset and the garden is zen-calm. The owner was very helpful in finding an open restaurant on a Monday evening (!). Very much recommend, should you need a place to stay in this neck of the woods
Beautiful place. Attention to details.Enchanting stay.comfortable beds, bedding. Got help to carry my luggage upstairs. The owners of this beautiful house are eager to help and please you.Lovely breakfast. Niort is a really nice little town to discover. The place actually looks better than the photos.
We DID NOT stay as, although the room was clean, it was shabby and we felt uncomfortable. It is not an apartment but an en-suite bedroom. So we booked another hotel in Niort and luckily we got one at such short notice.
Everything we needed for our overnight stop to break our journey to the North of France from our home in the South of France. Clean and comfortable perfect for a future visit to the beautiful town of Niort.
The hosts were exceptional. The bedroom was very comfortable. Location was near city center. The breakfast was extraordinary. Free parking on street across from property.
Recently refurbished and so exceeded the usual Ibis standard. Check in staff friendly. A few places to eat nearby on the industrial estate. Lots of parking.
