Make SURE you complete ALL of the pre-arrival details after booking. You need to register a copy of your passport and a facial photo in order to get the code for entry. There is VERY little in the area around the facility. It's on a major road in an industrial area -- all supporting airport operations. However, there IS a golden nugget. A 5-minute walk will find you at a cafe run by a nice guy from Iraq. They have a buffet but you can also get food to go. It's very nice and very fairly priced. Great location near the airport for an overnight stay. Nothing fancy but reasonable. Price was fair. Dinner in the Bistro was OK, steak was good but expensive, as expected in a hotel. I found it concerning that glass, glasses were in the bathroom with a tile floor and marble countertops. One slip and it could be a dangerous mess. They were just sitting on the counter, clean but not wrapped in any sustainable, sanitary packaging. Reusable - Yes but Best Choice - not sure. Don't miss breakfast. Huge selection of great foods. One of my best meals in Finland.

My dinner experience was extremely over priced and not good. Breakfast was slightly better. I had no complaints about the room or the service. Generally this was a good place to stay when traveling. The signage to the hotel was very confusing.

Vantaa was a vibrant city.
Vantaa was a vibrant city. Especially more busier in the central area near the harbour. As it was a planned short layover in the city, we do what most tourists would do. Did the ferry to Suomenlinna castle sea fortress. It was a good season for baby breath, hence we see a lot of it while we drive to Sipoonkorpi National Park.

What we liked most was the wonderful forest walks very close by and the climb up the steps and tracks of the man made hill, within the forest area. I really liked the design of the hotel, restaurant, lounge area. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. I had a great night's sleep before my flight to America after an 8 hour bus ride from St. Petersburg to Helsinki. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was very tasty and inexpensive, and the breakfast was amazing! Many thanks to everyone who works at the hotel!

The shuttle bus was the main reason for booking with this hotel and I used it to reach the airport and for commuting via the airport train. The front desk and restaurant staff were 5 stars, two thumbs up! The room was small and dated, but to be expected for the price. I didn't check out any facilities other than having dinner at the restaurant - good portion size, warm bread appreciated and server was fabulous.EIJACanada

Our room was small but comfortable, clean and quiet with a very good shower. There is a cafe in the complex with very good food and the breakfast had the best variety and the most tasty food we have had. Great breakfast. Great bed, comfortable and the first time, since we arrived in Finland 12 days back, that we got a large bed with the correct linen. A king size bed with one (1) set of king size linen. Hurray to Hilton Helsinki for being Western orientated in this regard. Every other hotel had a large bed with two (2) sets of single bed linen on it.

The breakfast was also really nice and it starts very early to accommodate early flight passengers. We also liked the self checkin option that was super easy and fast.
