I really enjoyed the stay. The host, Paolo, was incredibly helpful and attentive and the space was great. Sadly we didn't stay in Nuoro for long and we left acknowledging this was the best place we had stayed during our trip to Sardinia. The place was very centrical and, again, Paolo made us feel at home.
Would definitely recommend and come back!
Beautiful place with lovely people. I felt safer than other cities I have visited. But obviously, you can never be too cautious. I would definitely recommend learning Italian for a while before visiting though because the locals don't speak much English and it makes it easier for everyone!

Festival of Christ the Redeemer is well worth attending (end of August) - parades and traditional dancing and musci. Also hike up to the statue of the same name is beautiful. Interesting ethnographic museum to visit.

Shopping typical Sardegna products. MAN modern art museum.
Shopping typical Sardegna products. MAN modern art museum. Satta square with Nivola sculptures. Unfortunately partly occupied by a restaurant tables. Great food. Negative: very incomplete road directions, problem if driving your car.
Casa Marta's landlady was very kind, she offered information about Nuoro and practical information in the vicinity. We especially appreciated the fact that heating in the house was functional (end of March - it is sunny and warm throughout the day, but it can get chilli in the evenings) and that we could use the washing machine. We were pleasantly surprised with breakfast options and coffee and tea selection. It had been very kind of the host that she offered as a gift the map which we took by mistake. Recommendation definitely.
We loved everything about this charming property, but mostly the gracious host. He was welcoming, helpful and an absolute pleasure to be around BBB with.
The room is decked with all things local - from the carpet to the bedside tables. It is spacious, comfortable, and very well located in town. The breakfast - delicious and home-made in the cozy kitchen.
We would go back to Sardinia just to stay with Pascal who in our experience represents the very best of Italian hospitality.
We received a very warm welcome from the hosts, Mario and Frederique. Located near the top of a mountain, the views are breathtaking and you can get fresh water straight from a spring tap near the facility.
The room we stayed in was large, clean and the bed is comfortable. Breakfast is made with local products, most of which is homemade.
The three nights we spent here were the cherry on top of the cake that was our holiday in Sardegna. We can highly recommend Casa Solotti.
Pascale is an exceptional host who made our stay in Nuoro a pleasure despite the unseasonable cool and wet weather. He gave us some excellent recommendations of places to eat and drink. The breakfast was perfect and set us up for our days walking to Gola di Gorropu. We had a room with a a "galleried" seating area which had an interesting vertical staircase but where we could watch tv or read. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean
We had a very pleasant stay at Pasquale’s place. Our room was spotless and beautifully decorated with Sardinian inspiration. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Pasquale was always available and helped us with suggestions for nearby places to visit, great restaurants in Nuoro, and even booked us tables. Pasquale himself is a very charming host. We would gladly stay there again.
Staff were extremely courteous and helpful. Room a great size,.the wifi was fantastic and choice at breakfast. A couple in their 70s with no car we could easily walk around and use bus service at door. We loved Nuoro and enjoyed the cultural institutions which easy to get to without a car. Good tours available and gorgeous countryside and ruins to visit.
Beautiful renovated apartment in the very center of Nuoro, a few streets away from nice restaurants, museums and much more. Antonio is a great host that pays attention to detail and made us feel like at home. The apartment is fully equipped and it's much bigger than it looks in photos. I fully recommend this accommodation, hoping to go back myself one day!
From the moment we arrived, where Antonio was there to greet us, we loved every minute of our stay. Antonio invited us for a coffee and gave us some information about the area. The property is immaculate and a beautiful house in this wonderful small town. When we return to Nuoro, we will stay here again. Thank you Antonio!
The best stay we had on our holiday was without a doubt with Paolo in Nuoro. We even booked a day extra because we liked it so much. Paolo beams with positive energy, is so kind and helpfull and always has interesting stories to Tell. The b&b is very stylish, spacious and clean. No doubt that we Will be back one day!
Nice location to stay in Nuoro if you come by car. It is near the main street, also there's a public parking in front of the facility, which is to pay depends on time. I enjoyed hanging out the town, restaurant and museum.
Room was clean and comfortable and it was easy to self-check-in.
The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful.
The apartment was comfortable and well equipped.
Great location. Nuoro is a very interesting place to visit. Museum of fine art small but great exhibits. Same for Museum of ceramics.
Parking close to apartment.
The countryside amazing
My partner and I couldn’t choose better. The location is great, the host incredibly friendly and welcoming. He gave us detailed information about the house and nearby places. A beautiful, contemporary, and yet traditional place filled with Sardinian elements. Definitely recommended!!
Comfortable room in a very good location convenient to lots of shops, restaurants, and bars in the center of Nuoro. Host was very easy to communicate with, although we never met them. This property has self check-in.
Super nice and spacious apartment. Probably the best one we stayed in all of Sardinia ( we went through 5 different ones). Location was just around the corner from the center, so it was easy to walk around.
Perfectly suitable transit hotel if you are driving through Sardinia. Clean, and typical italian continental breakfast (yogurt, cheese, salami, bread, coffee, juice, watermelon)
Good covid protocol.
Beautifully restructured spacious apartment in historic center of Nuoro. Very kind host who provided many ideas for sightseeing and hiking, and even booked a restaurant on the night we arrived late.
The hosts were incredibly warm, helpful and informative with many tips for restaurants touring routes around Sardinia. Breakfast was lovely! Would definitely visit again.
