Our B&B was overbooked but our host found us an alternative apartment just down the road.it was a bit of a hike to the bar but the host offered to pick us back and did his very best to accommodate us.
So we were very happy at the end !

We loved Baunei.
We loved Baunei. Especially the village itself up in the mountains. Close knit community. Friendly locals and gorgeous mountain views. We had expected to be in closer proximity to the Coastline. But Baunei is a hill top village.

This small village is just recently explored by tourists, there are good restaurants and bars, beautiful panorama. Houses partly rebuilt and partly in bad, abandoned conditions. It is a perfect place for visiting Supramonte and its beaches.

Stunning in every possible way!
Stunning in every possible way! Everyone local we’re so friendly, we quickly Felt like a part of the furniture. Cafe centro was brilliant and we ate their often, and the gelato shop was incredible too. If you want somewhere with rustic authentic charm then this is the place for you! We did a boat tour to some of the beaches which was amazing and we hired a car so we could explore! Baunei and it coast line is an amazing mixture of mountains and Incredible coast line. Either trek to Cala goloritze and further to take in the spectacular nature or book a guided boat cruise to marvel at the beaches and scenery

It is on the far end of town, so it's walkable to get into town, or a very short drive if you have a car. Parking is available, and our host met us on the street to show us where to park. He also gave us lots of information about the town, where we could eat, and things we could do - lots of very thoughtful touches. Highly recommend this apartment if your travels are taking you to Baunei!

He had great conversations and you feel that he likes to invite guests to his home town. The apartment is cozy and with an extraordinary view over the valley, the ocean and the roof tops of Baunei. Near the central street where you find nice small shops. Furthermore it was no problem that our dog stayed there too, he was as warm welcomed as we were.

Lara and Paula were fantastic hosts, arranging a cake for my birthday, providing restaurant recommendations etc. A true sanctuary in the beautiful village of Baunei. Def recommend staying here as makes a change from the coastal towns, which are still very accessible from Baunei.
