Thank you Michael for the wonderful stay in Globe Runner. Since Michael is a part of the Globe Runner team it has his own charm. What is the best thing about Globe Runner. The location ? The orange juice? The german book wich was written in 1924 in Landsberg? None of them. The best thing about the Globe Runner is the people. They have a very big heart. Its a plcace where i feel like at home. Thanks

I was looking for a place to stay with a nice community and a safe environnement. Globe runner hostel was perfect in so many ways! It is one of the most comfortable and clean hostels I’ve seen, there are plenty of cool places to eat around and the neighbourhood is calm and very walkable. I stayed in a female dorm for 4 people, the room was big enough with comfortable beds that have 2 types of light and a small shelf, the curtain is a nice addition as well. There is a nice common area and a cafe with a terrace. The showers are shining clean. I definitely felt very safe and welcome there as a single traveler 🙂

If they do not charge towels and slippers separately, that would be more convenient.

You have to pay additionally for a lot of stuff but it's good you can have it there.

The hostel was able to check me in really late, so I'm grateful for it. There is a nice lobby where you can spend time with other people playing board games or having some drinks.

Michael and Ali and there two Ukrainian wives cared very well about me. Globe Runner is a hostel but the room of Michael and Ali is a hostel in the hostel. They have there own rules. If you deeply respect them Michael will borrow you his After Shave, if not, you cant even take a look to his After Shave bottle. You also need a visa, therefore you have to apply. But thats another story.

Like all the other reviews, this place is fun and comfortable. My home away from home! Great food at the cafe and a drafted IPA. Comfortable beds and all you need. Happy I found this hostel. Great value for money too. Private kitchen to cook whatever you wish with the occasional guitar evenings to beat the curfew 😉 Wonderful.

Kitchen can use organization and more kitchenware. Only drawback, like most hostels, is avoiding annoying and older male guests.

Clean facilities, plenty of bathrooms, courteous guests. Beds are extremely comfortable with a privacy curtain and included wall outlets.

Location is like an artist(ic) project...of Life! Beautiful surroundings, people, atmosphere...it's beyond words... I hope I'll have a possibility to come back one more time...

Keep in mind, that you should rent towels and a padlock for your stuff. Also the blow dryer wasn't working in our room :(

Great location. Shop just round the corner. Super friendly administrators. Kitchen is equipped with essentials. Amazing and clean shower. I haven't seen other people eventhough hostel was almost full. 100% will stay here next time🥰
