Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

IndiaThere is no lift and you have to climb winding stairs. The ocean view room is on the 4th floor. That made it even more difficult. But the staff helped us with our luggage every time. Even then going up and down can be exhausting. It is near to major locations but most of the time you have to climb a very steep hill to reach there...
The staff are really friendly warm and welcoming. They help you however they can. The place is clean hygienic and close to important locations. The breakfast is amazing. We always looked forward to breakfast time.

We stayed 2 nights at the Hotel Ottoman Zade and the crew was absolutely great, welcoming and helpful. The Hotel itself is well located, as not too far from the main places to visit, however the surroundings are not very welcoming and very noisy. The room was ok, not much space and old but was fine for this short stay. The beds were ok but not very comfortable. We recommend this stay only for short trips in Istanbul.

Bulgaria-I reserved this hotel because it said it had parking. -On the spot, however, it turned out that they didn't have a parking lot, and the place where we were directed to park cost as much as half the reservation for three people at the hotel. -A very inappropriate bed was spread out in the room, maybe it is a good solution for a child but not for an adult especially when he is a 2 meter man. -The room was very narrow. -The shower was not flowing well, most of the water was leaking from the damage in the hose. -The stairs were terrible, steep and high. -The area was terrible and with high prices because it is very touristic, if you move a few times in the country the meals are up to 2-3 times cheaper. -There is no good public transport nearby, except for the bus, which is the worst form of transport in Istanbul. -Yes, it is true that some of the main attractions are less than 1 kilometer away, but to get to them you climb a terrifying hill. -the wi-fi connection in the hotel didn't work well at all, sometimes you can't connect for hours

KazakhstanThe title “hotel” does really applicable to this place. If you are traveling with luggages then this place is not for you or you can take a taxi which will be a scam ofc. 1. Windows and walls are not insulated at all. We couldn’t sleep properly for all days of our staying. First, you hear everything from outside. Second, there are a lot of cats next to your window which starts screaming 2.00am in the morning and go for some hours. 2. Service. The cleaning will be done properly only once (we stayed 3 days). 3. No iron, no hair dryer although the place is titled as “HOTEL” Overall, there are many things to improve to reach the status of hotel.
The place is near to local restaurants, bazar and main attractions.

The location was good. Very nice staff. It felt much safer than any usual hotel anywhere because they have to open the door for you every time you want to enter (the door is not open for anyone to enter, you have to ring). They are available at all times.
