It's located in the middle of a bunch of touristy restaurants and they all have someone outside trying to get you to go to their restaurant, this became annoying for us. We did not like the restaurant that was recommended to us by the hotel, expensive and not tasty (Seafront Lounge, although looking at google reviews you would never guessed that). The following is in regards to the airport transfer through the hotel: Going from the airport to the hotel: it felt like it took unnecessarily too long to even leave the airport. We got clear instructions to get to the meeting point. After reaching it, we had to wait about 15 min for our driver to come, then we walked to where the car would pick us up. But that was not actually our driver who took us there, we then had to wait for another 10-15 min for the driver to pull up. And we got a big van, fitting 8 for 2 people. Cost was €40. It probably would have been easier and faster to just get a taxi, and later we learned would have cost the same. To get to the airport we arranged again taxi through the hotel, a smaller car for €35, it worked well in the way of the taxi arrived the requested time but we had a bit of a thrill ride.. Not something the hotel is responsible for. We got to the airport in one piece and at the expected time.

Location was good because it was close to the main attractions. Service was great, very nice staff. We had a situation with some dirt or something on our sheets, that came out of the A/C when we first turned it on, and the guy and the front desk arranged for our sheets to be changed, and made sure everything was clean. It was very professionally handled. The guy at the front desk also took the time to go over the highlights of Istanbul.

This my 3rd trip to Istanbul and Hotel Novano The hotel is ideally situated in Sultan Achmet close to the Grand Bazaar Blue Mosque Topcapi Palace , Hagia Sophia and Eminonu.The management are all extremely helpful and the breakfast is outstanding with the menu so varied to suit most international visitors. The rooms are clean and comfortable.The hotel provides tea and coffee after 3 pm with biscuits and cake for guests who may wish to sit on the terrace relaxing after a busy day of sightseeing

This is not about the hotel but the place itself - bear in mind that the traffic here is just crazy so it is advisable to use public transport (tram's stop "Sultanahmet" is very close from the hotel).

Great location, very central (5 minutes away on foot from Hagia Sophia), lots of restaurants just next door. Very clean and comfortable rooms, very good breakfast. We really felt home away from home - the administrator helped us with all our questions and requests.

The position of the hotel is perfect, just behind the Blue Mosque. The staff is very kind and helpful, both at the reception as at the breakfast service. The breakfast itself is very good and varied, with also very tasting typical Turkish food. We will definitively recommend this hotel!

Location was just perfect — very close to the able Mosque & Hagia Sophia. Tons of nice restaurants nearby. Host/ receptionists were both very friendly and helpful. They arranged taxi service (@5am) to the airport — $30 euros; much appreciated! What a beautiful city!

Not their fault and they can't do anything about ut, but some warning to you in case it matters: The street can be noisy and if your room is facing the street it can disturb you. most of the neighboring restaurants can be quite annoying and pushy in trying you to get in.

Excellent location, well taken care of, good service from the front desk and well priced. There's a small fridge and they refill it with bottled water. WiFi is pretty good! I also recommend booking airport transfer through them since it was efficient and hassle free.

This hotel is conveniently located surrounded by restaurants and souvenirs shops, only 5 minutes from Hagia Sophia, Sultan Ahmet Mosque, Basilica Cistern, etc. Staff is incredibly friendly and caring. They helped me booking some fun activities and were always eager to assist. Breakfasts are so delicious, wide range of options and loved the salads! Also in the afternoons there is always tea, coffee and snacks available for free for all the guests. Thank you so much to everyone at Novano for a wonderful time!

Nothing I didn't like on the contrary, I am going back to stay another 3 more days after visiting Izmir and Bodrum, I've even left some shopping I"ve done for my family so they put them in their storage while I am traveling around.

I chose it because of the reviews about location and their staff. It is not a big place overall but located very close to the most important historical attractions in the old part of İstanbul. The staff is incredibly dedicated, respectful and friendly. They made me feel so comfortable and cared for. They have offered me assistance in many ways. Breakfasts are yummy with a variety of items to choose from. Also they have tea, snacks and fruit available every afternoon which is a plus when you have been all day in and about. In the same street there are 4 restaurants, 2 Market shops and even a rug store, around the corner there are other shops and business hence so handy.

Location, service, and incredible value. If you want to be walking distance to all the attractions, look no further. The staff is so amazing and helpful. The room where we stayed needs some renovation, the walls were quite dirty and the wallpaper needs to be replaced.
