With the location right in the heart of Sultanamet which is perfect you have to battle diabolical traffic and narrow lanes to get there by car.

The roof terrace at Ibrahim Pasha is just about my favourite place in Istanbul. Overlooking the Blue Mosque and looking out at the Bosphorus there is no better place to have a drink watching the sun go down. Staff are delightful and helpful. The rooms very comfortable and nicely done. We had a lovely quiet balcony for some extra private space.

The staff are amazing. Friendly and helpful. The location is perfect. A few steps from the Hippodrome and a few more to the Blue Mosque. The hotel is really cozy with comfortable furnishings and lots of little places to relax with tea and cake and a book while you catch your breath. And last but not least there is a lovely rooftop bar with views of the Blue Mosque.

Lovely friendly staff. Really thoughtful touches like complimentary teas and coffees and lovely home from home feel...lots of books and comfy sofas. And it's really near key sites. The view from the roof over the Blue Mosque and the Bosporous was superb. I will be back!

What an absolute gem Hotel Ibrahim Pasha is! So comfortable, peaceful and individual. The staff are genuine and warm making this beautiful haven the perfect home from home. The view from the roof bar is stunning and it's perfectly located to return to for a rest before going out for the evening. Staff are a mine of information and go above and beyond. We.cannot recommend this hotel and its staff highly enough. The perfect stay in Istanbul.

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. When I sent them a WhatsApp message they replied within minutes. When my wife and I arrived early they checked us in and offered breakfast also. They spent hours giving us very useful advice. Each and every staff were great, examples among them are: Mustafa, Merci, Dogan, Ata, et al. There are no hidden costs. Foreign exchange is based on Xe (no margins), free breakfast, free coffee, free water bottles (24/7), free local calls. Excellent location, with many major attractions within a 10-minute walk.

The breakfast was limited and some things like orange juice was not replenished when it ran out even if it was only half way through the breakfast session.

Small and cozy can also feel a little bit tight at times. The bathroom was super tiny - something that's OK with relatively small made people like us but could be problematic for larger folks. The lift was also super tiny, which may make it difficult for mobility impaired folks.

Location, location, location!! As a first time visitor, the hotel was perfectly placed to explore the Fatih/ Sultanahmet area with everything a 30 min walk or less away. The hotel itself is small and cozy and full of character. I personally loved the little lobby and seating areas with the fireplace and all the lovely books. Similarly with the room, it felt homey and nice unlike some hotel rooms which can feel like character less boxes. The staff were all very friendly and helpful as well.

The bathroom was a little small, with not much space for toiletries etc. We would have liked an extra mirror in the bedroom, not just in the bathroom.

The staff were very friendly and courteous, and extremely helpful. Tea and coffee were available in the room or on the rooftop terrace free of charge all day. The location of the property, right opposite the blue mosque, is fantastic for visiting the old town. The rooms were cosy and comfortable.

Hotel Ibrahim Pasha surpassed all our expectations. The location is extremely convenient, most of the top attractions are within short and easy walking distance from the Hotel, we didn't have to use public transport throughout our stay. The hotel is located on a quiet street. The room is cosy, clean, quiet, warm and comfortable. Our room rate was inclusive of daily breakfasts which we enjoyed very much. The breakfast covers a wide range of food which were fresh and prepared daily with care. Afternoon tea/coffee with homemade cakes were also offered, it was such a pleasant treat in the afternoon coming back from walking around visiting attractions. To top it all was the absolutely amazing service provided by Dogan and his team throughout our stay, everything was made so easy with the constant help from the team. The local map prepared by the Hotel includes all the useful information on transportation, attractions, recommended restaurants, etc. and were extremely useful. We also used the Hotel Airport transportation which made our arrival easy and hassle free. Bravo to Hotel Ibrahim Pasha and its dedicated team, we highly recommended this excellent Hotel when visiting Istanbul.

The hotel was ideally situated only metres from the main square, Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, always at hand to answer any queries or questions. There was a good choice at breakfast,and the afternoon tea/ coffee and cake was a nice touch. I am always wary of recommending accommodation or places to friends as we all have different ideas and opinions, but I would have no hesitation re commending Istanbul for a visit and definitely staying at the Hotel Ibrahim Pasha.
