Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomI would suggest to not clean rooms before breakfast time finish, it’s not a problem but usually after breakfast we came back to room and someone was already cleaning it , I think best to clean after 10:30am when people have eaten and most have gone out to city :) it’s not a bad feedback , just suggestion.
Nice hotel, very clean and with super friendly staff. Rooms were cleaned daily and breakfast was tasty and fresh. Close to local public transport like metro, train and bus, amazing coffee shop near by

Clean and comfortable with friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast, comfortable beds and great value for money. About a 30 min walk into central Sultanahmet, but was no problem and enabled you to get a feel for the place. Would def recommend.

United KingdomThere was some building work going on outside and a lot of trucks through the night. The improvements will great when they are finished. The breakfast can be a little repetitive but still enjoyable.
The hotel is in a great location with comfortable rooms and great staff. There's a small spa downstairs which was surprisingly good with a suna and pool A very relaxed atmosphere.

NetherlandsI only disliked the fact that the mirrors in the room where dark, I was able to use the bathroom one mostly.
I loved the location of this hotel. The metro was at a 2 min. walk and the tram only 7 min. walk. The workers are very kind and helpful when you need something. There is plenty of things to do nearby (Shopping, food etc.). A special thanks to Davut he was an amazing host!

The warmth of the staff who tried their best to accommodate my requests. Strategic location, walking distance to the Laleli wholesale market, to the Grand Bazar (best exchange rates) and a short tram ride to the Sultanahmet area and Gulhane garden. The location is at the intersection of multiple metro lines (north west and east: M2, M1, B2 Marmaray(european to asian side intersecting with M4 going to Sabiha airporr) as well as T1 tram line. Metro stations are 2 mns away from the hotel, tram 6/7mns away. Rooms are clean, small but well kept up. One of the gentelmen at the reception spoke Turkish, English, and Arabic (Tunisian accent - very cool and rare in istanbul). Will definitely recommend to friends.
