Nothing could have been better. The location was very convenient for sightseeing.

We arrived very early on our day to check in and no rooms were available but we were offered a great breakfast (one of the best of our 17 day trip) and they stored all of our luggage until after our full day tour of Istanbul. We met the very nice manager (a cat) and all the employees were very friendly, funny, and very helpful. After booking and before our arrival, they were communicating with us to see if we needed any help with directions or transportation. They did arrange comfortable, spacious, and timely transportation to the airport even with our 3:30 am departure and even supplied a breakfast sandwich and juice to go since we missed breakfast with our early departure. Every thing was done better than expected. We would stay there again in a second if we return to the city!

Doruk Palas is truly a special place!! The hotel is beautiful but it is the staff that truly sets it apart. They were incredibly welcoming and eager to help with anything we needed. We always enjoyed chatting with them when we were in the lobby. The room was comfortable with a gorgeous view across the Golden Horn. It’s also a great location on a quiet street that was an easy walk or ride on public transit to everywhere we wanted to visit. Mr. Osman and Princess also made each morning so fun- we loved getting to play with them! Highly highly recommend staying here! You won’t regret it.

Everything was amazing.

Me and my friend came here for the first time and the staff of this hotel made our stay in Istanbul worthwhile. The real manager of this beautiful hotel was Mr. Osman, and he stole the show. He made sure everything was taken care of. We will come back here on our next trip.

This was our 2nd stay in istanbul, but by far the best. The owners are extremely friendly and are always willing to give recommendations about where to eat and to visit. They also have a really cool cat called Osman, who is the heart and soul of what this hotel is about. Also amazing breakfast, nice welcome drink and nice rooms with excellent views of the Mosques. 11/10

The location was kinda weird. Took our taxi driver a few rounds to finally find it. But the hotel was indeed the most polished building in that neighborhood.

The staff were super friendly and helpful! CAT LOVERS, they have a cat (apparently who owns this place 😄) who will follow you around and let you pet!! This is exactly what we came to Istanbul for 😻 Besides, the breakfast was also commendable.

The only thing that didn't work for us was the bedside light. No biggie.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great. The hotel is very close to the Galata tower and our room had a great view across the water. Plus there are facilities for making coffee and tea in the bedroom, which I always like.

Proximity to a mosque but this is a Muslim country and the culture of it is why we travel there!!!

On a quiet street just 200m from the Beyoglu metro station we found this modern boutique hotel. It was surrounded by lighting stores with the biggest and best chandeliers etc so well lit and safe! The room was well designed and compact with everything you needed. We were upgraded on the last night to the top floor and watched trains cross the Golden Horn on the bridge and disappear into a tunnel directly under our hotel, we never heard a rumble or anything! We arrived at 9.45am from Perth and were greeted with “welcome, please leave your bags there and enjoy some breakfast (there was a spread on a long table!) Tea? Coffee? Eggs? Later the manager came over and said “ how was your breakfast? The other guests have just checked out so your room will be ready in about 20 minutes “ The service was 5.5stars! We chatted with the manager about his cat and recommendations for a rooftop seafood restaurant! Nothing was a problem we cannot recommend this hotel highly enough! We walked to the shopping strip to Taksim Square, took a train to the Grand Bazaar etc and he arranged a taxi to the cruise terminal!

The hospitality of the owner, staff and Osman was incredible, we felt like being a part of a family. Upon arrival, we were offered refreshment drinks (try lemonade!). The boutique hotel is lovely, great breakfast. The room was clean and had an exceptional view. Great location. Would recommend.

The location is very good, you can walk to most places, Galata Tower, Galataport, Istiklal Street, Taksim, every place is close to the hotel, and the security is excellent, the view from the room is beautiful, and the staff here are the best! They consider you a member of the family, making sure to provide for all your needs and safety, and the wonderful employee, of course, is Othman, the security cat!

Absolute pinacle of customer care, friendliness and hospitality. One just feels more like visiting a relative than being in a boutique hotel. Amazing, charming owners and staff. People really go beyond and above for your comfort and happiness. Location is brilliant too. Walking distance from the river.
