Nothing too severe, just a well used place that looks a bit rundown. The toilets are clean enough but don't expect hotel quality stuff.

It is exactly what you would expect from a social hostel, great location and a great way to meet lovely people. Jaan the manager is also lovely and very helpful, has great recommendations when asked. His jokes could use some work but he makes it a point to interact with the guests to ensure their comfort. If you can find it available and afford it, go for a private room. The location is everything, right next to Sofia hagia and the blue mosque.

I stayed here for a week. The location of the hostel is perfect, within walking distance of the main historical sites of the city and all the connections. The welcome was amazing, Can and the other guys are fantastic and take care of every detail trying to meet all the needs and wants of the guests. They also organize many activities for guests and are always available for advice and suggestions on how to fully enjoy the city. The breakfast is super plentiful and, last but not least, the view from the terrace is breathtaking! If I were to return to Istanbul I would definitely book here again. Great experience!

The hostel was perfect. I couldn't recommend it enough. The reception guys were kind- Neco and the rest. The beds and washrooms were clean and the location was just perfect. Would definitely recommend and also come back again and again. Love the concept of the entertainment upstairs and organizing for parties.

Hot water is poor and the shower facilities are worst. Almost impossible to take a hot shower without freezing some parts as the shower has practically no water pressure and barely works. The tap is better but at an awkward height that you can't wash fully.

The location is amazing, just behind the Sultanahmet and it is amazing to walk around Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque at odd hours. The beds were comfortable and with good height to sit upright.

My only little complain is that there were alot of flies on the toilet floors in the basement area. Plus maybe the shower room was not the most clean.

A beautiful hostel literally seconds from Sultanahmet square and the mosques. I was immediately looked after by the reception on arrival and quickly made friends on the first day. Special thanks to Sinan for the pub crawl, Peter for always keeping the bar on top form and also Marlene:) John told me to add that he is very cool so I'll mention that too haha. I'd highly recommend this hostel to any solo travellers, I made all the connections I needed for the duration of my stay almost immediately. Hopefully I will visit again!

Fantastic stay, wonderful location to get around old town and all other parts of the city. John and Sinan are wonderful hosts and helpful in providing great recommendations. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The hostel was always kept very clean, common areas are great for relaxing or socializing. One of my favorite stays, dont miss the bar crawl with Sinan!

Sinan and Can were fantastic hosts, had the best recommendations and connections, made very delicious food, and were overall a joy to be around. (As a female traveler, I felt incredibly comfortable and at home despite an all male staff). The hostel is within walking distance of lots of good food, tourist attractions and breathtaking views. There were plenty of opportunities to make friends with other guests- I enjoyed the pub crawl and multiple “family dinners”. I absolutely loved my stay and can’t wait to return!
