How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Like other mid-range, European city hotels, the rooms are small. The hotel is also very close to a speaker for the Adhan. For the Fajr and Sunrise calls, this could be disruptive in the early hours without earplugs. However, the Adhan is broadcast everywhere so non-Muslim travellers will need to grow accustom to it regardless.
Great location on a quieter street, rooftop patio, decent breakfast spread, very friendly and helpful staff. Walkable to Grand Bazar (5-7min), historic district (10min), streetcar stop to historic district and Beyoglu neighborhood (3-5min).

WIFI was a bit "in & Out" , as I was on the top floor , but I managed & took my Tablet to the reception area if i needed to send emails etc
The Reception staff were absolutely Fantastic . They gave me great advice on Shopping , places to eat etc . They went out of their way to help me with any questions /situations . If I return to Istanbul , then I would go to this Hotel .

The bedsheets had a few stains and a few holes in the first room. Had to ask the receptionist to accommodate us in a different room. The cleaners need to pay more attention to the finer details

The AC was not working for the first day of our stay and it was very hot and stuffy. It was repaired. The breakfast was fine.
Liked the location. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Excellent location within walking distance of the tram stop and Grand Bazaar. Really friendly and helpful staff who upgraded our room on arrival. The bed was comfortable and a good breakfast was served in the morning.

Size of the room and misleading pictures at booking.com but number given for size of a room is seem to be correct. Not all products at breakfast were fresh .

A mosque is just 20 meters away, its loudspeaker points exactly at the hotel, so waking up at ~5:40 is unavoidable. The rooms are small, but that was expected. The breakfast was... well, edible, but not exciting at all.
The personnel is very helpful and welcoming. The rooms are clean and have all the necessary furniture. The location is great – it's 15 minutes (or less) away from all important points of interest, and there's a lot of cafes and restaraunts around.

The staff was amazing, Murat and Bilal are so friendly and helpful! They made my stay better. My flight was so early at morning so they prepared a sandwich for me. The location is amazing. Bed was so comfy. Recommend it!

The stuff was very polite, kind and ready to help. Rooms is clear and functional, We got coffee and tea every day. Breakfast was delicious! Very good location near Kapali čarši and the main tramway street.

It's worth mentioning that the hotel has no parking spaces. For those traveling by car, this could pose an inconvenience.
One of the standout features of this hotel is undoubtedly its fantastic staff. The level of hospitality and friendliness was exceptional, The hotel's location is another major highlight. And the breakfast is delicious.

Hard to find in the evening by the taxi driver, but I don't know if it is as problem in the hotel location or the driver that does not know how to drive in Istanbul.

There is nothing that we could mention...
The way their staffs treated us(hospitality) , fulfilling our needs.. Best thing were the breakfast , beyond expectations for us , slight change of menus everyday , but keeps your taste buds happy. They clean the room , everyday...Bathrooms are a bit smaller , but thats just something across everywhere , because the place sulthanampet is in the hub of city. 15 min walk from blue mosque and Hagia Sophia mosque. 5 min walk from Grandbazaar 20 min walk from Egyptian bazaar 3 min from Nearest tram station Ps : Ask for omblette and they will prepare for free.
